Excellent attorney

I hired Jamie for my custody battle, which lasted almost a year. Jamie was very comforting knowing how scared I was and always reassured me that everything was going to be fine. Which it was thanks to her! Jamie has a big heart and will fight till the end for you. I recommend Jamie to anyone who is g...oing through a divorce or custody battle.

No Intergrity

Jamie McGavic was hired to handle my custody case. She was supposed to do certain things and when it come down to her doing it, she failed. She was always about the money even with receiving payments. Closer to trial she withdrew only to leave me hanging. She doesnt hold up to her her values or i...ntergrity. Basically she takes your money and then withdraws and doesn't fight to do whats right and I walked into court without an attorney and lost everything because how she did. She builds you up and then leaves you hanging.

High conflict case, and have recommended her again and again

After terminating my previous law firm for shady practices I called around to several other firms and explained my case was going to be high conflict and likely drawn out. Jamie was actually recommended to me by other firms who wanted more “cut and dry” cases. I met with Jamie and gave her the... full history of my case and circumstances. I have worked with several other attorneys in the St Louis metro area and GAL’s and Jamie was fantastic. She fought not only for me but for the rights of my child where their voices are often unheard in our judicial system. We faced many obstacles during the hearings, motions, and false allegations by the other party and their attorney. It was drawn out much longer than it should have been (at the fault of the other party). Jamie was patient and thorough while dealing with some of the most extreme things that can happen in a family law case, including personal attacks from the other party. I learned to trust Jamie and know that she will fight for her clients. While a high conflict case is the last thing I would wish on any person, I know that Jamie will always be in my corner and fighting for what is right. I have recommended her again and again to other individuals facing high conflict ( whether money, domestic violence, or dealing with cluster B personality disorders). Jamie knows the law thoroughly and works ethically and with an integrity that I have found to be lacking with many in the field. While I hope to never need her services again, I know with my case that will likely be the happen and Jamie will be the first and only person I turn to.
