My X wife and I were ordered to do mediation and Kristen was our mediator. Let me tell you something about this PROFESSIONAL. She isn't a rising star she IS a STAR. I've worked with a lot of attorneys and they aren't even in the same league as this lady. I left her office with a sense of HOPE. She is... incredible and I highly recommend her services.

Kristen was my initial lawyer through Stange Law Firm for the beginning stages of my divorce before she had her baby. I was then paired with someone else at Stange who clearly did not represent me as thoroughly and as vigorously as Kristen did. So when my ex husband brought another petition after th...e dissolution was final, I went searching for Kristen. I found her at the Barbara Sherer Law Firm in Edwardsville finishing up her maternity leave. The firm pulled together to represent me until she was back at work. When I first met her, I could tell off the back that she was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. And she proved that she could handle any divisiveness, manipulative, charming, and slick trickster, whether attorney or otherwise, who came her way and who stood in the way of her client's benefits. I say that because my ex-husband was that kind of person (and still is...hence the anonymous review). Moreover, his attorney, although knowledgeable and experienced, did not get the best of her or of me because of her knowledge and research skills. Even when my ex (he blamed his attorney) pulled a fast one because both of them changed their minds after a settlement agreement was reached, after all the paperwork was written up, and during the signing of the agreement, Kristen remained objective and focused. In a nutshell, my lights were cut off. My water was cut off. My children and I were almost put out on the street. He told us he was not going to pay anything, child support or otherwise, and he was going to make sure that I don't keep the house. He ALMOST did. I sought out an attorney just to get the necessary help to maintain. My ex, of course, wanted me to see how bad off I would be without him. So he did everything he could prove that to me. It was definitely a process but Kristen, through encouragement and keeping me motivated, helped me to get more than I expected to receive...20x more than what I needed to maintain financially and, needless to say, my life back. Kristen, her staff, and her colleagues at Barbara Sherer Law Firm were the best, in my book, and extremely professional. I would recommend Kristen to any one going through such an ordeal. She was sensitive to my feelings as well as truthful...hardworking and patient...understanding and in tune with family law and all its loopholes and nuances. Thank you, Kristen!!!! This lawyer is outstanding!!! Kristen strieker is from Strange Law Firm. This group of individuals are the most proffessional, and compassionate lawyers I have ever met in my life! Not only do they kick but they are sincerly there from their clients! Now days it is really hard to find an attorney tha...ts seriously cares for their clients. She does!!!!!
