After college Mr. Eckelkamp ran his own political consulting company (Eckelkamp Strategies). He received his Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law. During law school Mr. Eckelkamp competed on the National Trial Team, successfully earned a spot on the Harvard Journal for Law and Public Policy as an Executive Editor after a national write on competition, served as President of the Student Bar Association, and traveled to Thailand with the Public Interest Law Group to teach about AIDS & HIV.
Mr. Eckelkamp operats his own firm (The Eckelkamp Law Firm, LLC). While in law school Mr. Eckelkamp interned with the U.S Attorney's Office as well as the St. Louis Circuit Attorney.
