The other reviews indicating the poor communication are 100% accurate. Not only is the communication bad, but also noted in the other reviews he will drag the case out for years and run the cost up with no refund. I would not recommend using him, you will not get the time given to you that is needed ...with the work load he has taken on and he will admit to that after you pay your retainer. I am in a worse position now then when I hired him over 3 years

Mr. Farenkamp will do his best for you when it comes to your childrens best interest, But he has no desire to get your divorce through quickly. We hired him expecting complete our child custody case in a time fashion, but he delayed the trial with stacks of paperwork to the opposing side so he could keep billing us for thousands of dollars. He doesn't have any good interest other then making money for himself and that's it once he has done t...hat he drop your case and take his own clients to court to collect his money. Dave has been a disappointment from day one. He frequently would tell me to "call his girls" for an appointment", but when I did, I could never get in to see him. I was always in the dark and his staff never knew his schedule like they should (nor my status). I asked numerous times to see him prio...r to a court date, and could not get in. In court, he was very unprepared, uninterested and would rather "wing it". Extremely frustrating to say the least. Did not care about my case.
