Thoughtful Immigration Attorney

I engaged Mike and his firm of talented legal professionals to help me remove conditions from my conditional permanent residency (i.e. going through the I-751 process). My situation was particularly complicated, due to my marital issues. As such, I was obviously nervous and worried about the outcome.... I brought my case to Mike, and he scheduled an in-office appointment with me. He effectively cleared his schedule for a couple of hours to sit down and go through a document-by-document and event-by-event history of my marriage and filing. He asked tough questions, ones that I would expected to answer in an actual interview with an immigration officer. He was sympathetic, yet professional; being honest with me on points where we'd have to build evidence for the govt. to adjudicate in my favor. He was very thorough and meticulous. Not only was our initial consultation excellent, the service he and his firm provided throughout the long, arduous process was markedly notable. For some context, most cases are resolved within a few months. Mine, however, dragged on for more than a year, a period which included and interview and request for evidence (RFE) by USCIS. The process was made even more complicated by rapidly evolving immigration regulations and rhetoric. As I was becoming more anxious, Mike frequently spoke with me throughout my case. This is something he didn't have to do, as I was not paying him for this. But he went above and beyond. He also accompanied me to the USCIS interview and offered guidance on how the interview would unfold. Moreover, as the months dragged on, he and his firm sent repeated, hand-delivered letters to the local USCIS office to follow up on my case. It was an incredibly personalized approach. After more than a year, my case was finally approved. It was a sigh of relief and I immediately sent Mike and his team a thank you note for their outstanding representation. In summary, Mike is a very (and I mean very) knowledgeable immigration attorney. I can assure you that my case was complicated to the say the least and he expertly navigated it. Now, I am retaining his firm's services to become a US Citizen! It is an exciting journey and I am glad to have Mike by my side throughout it. In short, if you've got a complicated (or regular) immigration case, and want the personalized touch of a thoughtful boutique firm, I highly recommend Mike and his team.

The best in the field - professional, expert, honesty and empathy

I've been a long time client and had consulted Mike and team to help me with my greed card. The case was complicated however, Mike took the time to review and weigh options. He looked at several factors to ensure I have the best chance to get good results. Honesty - he will tell you straight if ...you have a good chance at getting a green card considering your case including risks involved. This is rare - the team will not charge you more than what's necessary. Consulting appointment are not rounded up to an hour if you spent 15mins with him on a call. Expenses like flight/transport, per diem and accommodations for personal appearances were actually great and goes on the side of practicality. Empathy - you know that Mike and team are genuinely concerned not just because you are a client, but because they understand the struggle/challenges of people and family. Mike exudes positive attitude and look at the good in everything. Expertise - Mike knows his stuff. He over-prepares to get the result that he wants. During my interview, we had tons of supporting documents and he even volunteered some information to reinforce the case. Professionalism - commitment, confidence, dependability, professional presence and most of all... Honesty. I've been referring Mike and team to my friends and even my husband know and refer them to his colleagues with confidence. I cannot thank him enough for helping and guiding me throughout my journey. I wouldn't be able to get to this point without Mike and his teams' help!

AMAZING TEAM!!!!

Back in Cape Town South Africa 2016 , I had just gotten engaged and was in need of a US immigration attorney to help me out with the K1 visa process. I was introduced to Michael by my friend who had used his services. Michael made the whole process so seamless, it was surreal. His attention to det...ail is incredible. A couple of days before the interview , he Called me up via Skype to make sure I was ready , we did a brief role play by asking me the necessary questions. He made sure I was fully prepared and YES, I got my K1 visa. Michael and team made sure I had every document in place and a couple of months after my arrival. I received my Employment Authorization Card and finally the green card. There aren’t enough stars to rate this firm. They are the best.

Excellent Service

I am very pleased with the level of professionalism, knowledge and overall customer service Mike and his firm provided. It's not always easy to navigate the complexity of our immigration system an I'm very happy to have a trusted attorney to go to for all my future needs. I would recommend Mike with...out hesitation.

Exceptional experience

I was referred to Mike and his team for my asylum case several years ago, and I can't say enough good things about his firm. During every step of the process, Mike answered my innumerable questions, was always detailed and straightforward and guided me through the ever-changing asylum system with ut...most professionalism and patience. I particularly appreciated Mike's honesty and humanness. He never made any unrealistic promises all while helping me prepare as best a case as possible and advocating before USCIS on my behalf. Thanks to Mike and his team, my overall experience was much less stressful as I was sure I was in excellent hands. I am looking forward to working with Mike's firm in the future when the time comes to apply for permanent residence.
