I consulted with Arthur at his downtown office
And I was not impressed. He seemed rushed, uninterested, and bothered by my presence. I did later have other attorneys offer the same service to me as Arthur offered at a lower price, one of which I went with, and I ended up having a great experience. I just didn't get the professional vibe from Art...
I am sorry that this potential client feels I was not interested in his case. I am happy he found someone else he was comfortable with. While I do not know who this potential client is, I can say that I would not have set a meeting unless I believed it was important to discuss the matter with him. When I meet with the potential client, I ask direct questions to get right to the heart of the matter. Typically, there are only a few questions and facts that are relevant to confirm if there is a case. There Sometimes the potential client feels they must provide me with a lengthy background after I have already determined that there is a case, or is not a case. Once I am retained, I ask for any and all information. But prior to that, I only ask about the information directly relevant to the case, especially when I have other potential clients waiting to meet with me.

not very friendly
Called him about my case. He seemed a bit stand off ish. Short, and not very empathetic.
My normal practice during an initial phone call is to get a few legally relevant facts from the caller to see if there might be a legal violation. Only a few facts are relevant to make this preliminary determination. The main one, in a termination case, is if the employee feels they may have been terminated due to illegal discrimination (race, age, etc,) or unlawful retaliation. I only need a few facts to see if there may be a violation. Many terminations are unfair, but not illegal. If the termination was simply unfair and not illegal, I do my best to explain this and save the potential client a trip downtown. If there may be some violation, I set a time to discuss the matter in more detail. I apologize if this process may be seen by some as not empathetic. But as you can see from the more recent review, many callers are appreciative of my answers in the brief phone calls.

Very rude very dismissive learn some manners
I had a very disappointing experience with Arthur Ehrlich. From the start, the interaction felt rushed and dismissive. I was trying to explain the details of my situation—something that’s already stressful—and was repeatedly interrupted before I could even finish my thoughts. Professionalism and b...
I am sorry that Shawn was offended during our phone call. I was trying to get him to focus on the relevant facts in his case. I thought we were making good progress and I ultimately found that Shawn had a viable case. At the end of the call, however, it seemed that Shawn was displeased that I would be charging a retainer fee to represent him. He responded with profanity when I quoted him the retainer and abruptly hung up. I am aware that some clients feel it is important to give me a long and detailed history of all that occurred to them. But it is not realistic to do this in a brief phone call where I am trying to get to the key facts as efficiently as I can so I can determine if the client has a case or not. After I provide my initial assessment of their case, and the client wishes to retain me, I then ask them to send me a detailed summary and timeline and key documents supporting their case. I apologize if he felt I was rushing him. But I was never dismissive since i concluded he did have a case worth pursuing.

RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISMISSIVE
If you're looking to speak to someone without being interrupted in mid speech as well as being treated with respect, don't waste your time. I was wrongfully terminated and discriminated against because of a workplace illness. My employer refused to provide my doctor with the necessary documentation...
I am sorry that this client had a bad experience in our initial phone conversation. First, I did not hang up on this client. The conversation came to end after i asked questions to obtain the most relevant facts for his case, and it was clear that I did not see a viable claim. I fully understand that this client felt that this was a great case. I tried to explain why i felt this was not a viable claim. Understandably, this was hard to accept since the client was 100% certain that this was a very strong case and could not understand why i did not agree, despite my attempts to explain all of this a few times. When the client kept repeating the same facts over and over, i had to repeat my opinion about his case. There are only certain facts that are relevant to a lawsuit, but this client felt it was important to tell me numerous details that were not legally relevant to a potential claim. I hope the client found an attorney who took the case and would be happy to be proven wrong should the client prevail

He is not a nice cooperative man.
Offered pay him for help on a simple form for auto title transfer and refused to help or even notorize or mail me the form. For those reasons I don't recommend his services to anyone.
This individual asked me to assist in getting an out of state title or plate for a vehicle he purchased at an auto auction. When I politely explained that this was not the type of work we handled, he threatened to give me a bad review unless I found him an attorney who would help him. At that point, i again explained i did not practice in this area, and noted that I could not have a positive relationship with a potential client who threatens me with a bad review whenever I was unable to do as he demanded.
