Chris followed through on several details that were specific to the sale of my home. He clarified an address change for my property even tho the county had not clarified. He was great at keeping everyone involved and informed of changes. His tenacity was present through the whole closing. For my purc...hase he was equally on top of all details including last minute changes that had to be addressed quickly. I had an issue on access to my new location and he was able to get the association to change a construction schedule in order to get me access to my new home. Absolutely the greatest; would highly recommend.

Chris represented my wife & I purchasing our home in Glen Ellyn. We were moving from Pennsylvania as a result of a corporate relocation. The “customs & rules” of purchasing a home in IL are different in many ways, especially how property taxes are paid. When I first learned that IL was “an Atto...rney State” and that I was required to have an attorney represent us in the real estate transaction, I felt this was a little over the top. Having now gone through the process, I have a different opinion. It was great having Chris guide us and explain all the details. Chris was very easy to talk with. Explained the process. We were never “chasing” the buying/closing process. This helped to reduce the stress level during what is typically a very stressful time.

Chris assisted us with our first home purchase on December 16th. The process actually began in July 2015. Chris stuck with us through two potential transactions that didn't work out. The transaction that did occur was a short sale. He kept us abreast of any updates during the process. Chris was alwa...ys very responsive, organized and professional. He would always break things down and made sure we understood what we were reading or signing. We always felt he was looking out for our best interests. One example of this was during our walkthrough. We found that the seller had left a lot of heavy object in the house. This was a breech of contract and Chris immediately discussed this with the opposing attorney to try and resolve the issue. What we learned from this process is that buying a home requires you to put a solid team together (lawyer, agent, lender) to assist you in making sure a smooth transaction occurs and your best interests are looked out for. We'd ask Chris to be on our team time and again and would recommend him without reservation.

Chris Fotopoulos came highly recommended to me and it was easy to see why. As a first time home buyer, I was undoubtedly nervous and had many questions. Chris answered each one and walked me through every step of the process. He was very knowledgeable and patient with all of my inquiries! I act...ually went through two transactions with Chris! Through no fault of my own, my initial deal fell through because of the sellers. It was a tough situation and Chris fought for me until that transaction was terminated. Shortly thereafter, I had the pleasure of working with him again on my current condo and I cannot stress this enough - he was fantastic. On the day of the closing, we went through each piece of paper. If there was something that I did not grasp very well, he explained it to me until I did. He truly cares for his clients and wants them to be happy with their purchase. I have - and will continue - to recommend Chris for any transactions going forward.
