I came to Steve with a very hard-to-win DUI case and must say he gave me every chance possible. Although he was unable to win my case outright, due to a very high BAC level and an accident which occurred the night of my arrest, both he and I believed, with the evidence provided, the judge should've l...et my suspension be completely dismissed. He had the arresting officer take the stand without having a trail, saving me thousands of dollars and really came close to beating my case all together. In the end I ended up with supervision which, if completed, will yield no conviction of a DUI to my permanant record and he got 3 of my 5 tickets dismissed. He got me out of jail time of up to a year and my liscense is suspended for the 6 month minimum. Overall he did a great job in a situation which seemed impossible at the start. Steve is a great guy, a family man, and asks to be called by his first name from the beginning. I was surprised to hear him answer his own phone calls and never had to go through a secretary, always spoke directly with him. He is quick to respond to texts, emails and phone calls if he does not pick up immediately. You can tell he knows what he is doing and explains everything to you in full as your case moves along. His services to me have been completed and he still offers support and advice when I need it. Although I'll never have another DUI, if any other legal issues were to arise, he will be the first person I'll contact. You can't afford not to hire him!

While recently seeking help with parking violations I was referred to Mr. Klein and was told that he would be very helpful to me. When I contacted him I found that he was the complete opposite. He was very rude and offered me no help. I tried to explain to him that I was newer to the city of Chicago... and was a bit confused about how things work here. My concern was that I had many parking tickets that I could not afford to pay. I simply needed advice on how to handle my situation and wanted to know if there were any alternatives. He told me, "If you don't even have money to pay your parking tickets how are you going to be able to pay me?" While he continued to speak to me in a demeaning manner we briefly got disconnected. I called back to apologize and let him know that it was an accident. Before I could finish my sentence he cut me off and accused me of hanging up on him. I wanted to let him know that it was not my intention and if he could help me in any way with my violations I would still opened to listening to his advice. He told me that there was no advice he could give me. I wish that I could give him a lower rating than 1 star. I thought attorneys were supposed to want to help you and not make you feel stupid about having questions. I under stand that his job can be frustrating at times but at the very least he could have not been a jerk. I DO NOT recommend him to anyone. He was the meanest attorney that I have ever worked with. I feel that you should only seek help from him if you want to be turned away and be spoken to like a child.
