I couldn’t have asked for a better lawyer to represent my case in court. He was very reassuring and comforting from the beginning to the end. For a first time DUI offense (with a car accident involved), I was scared out of my mind, I spoke to a dozen of lawyers before coming across Steve, and from ...the initial call, he went more in depth than anyone I’d spoken to, and made sure I was in understanding of the entire process before ending our conversation (this was before I even hired him). And this remained the same, with every phone call, text and email, throughout the entire process. His thorough communication made all the difference. Steve went above and beyond in court. I was able to get my license back much earlier than expected, and he managed to reduce my court supervision time. Steve was incredible. He was recommended to me by a friends law office in the suburbs and I thank god they did. From the first time I spoke to him, I knew I wanted his help. I was convicted of my first DUI in 2011. I never thought I would catch a second. A few months later in 2012 I was pulled over for a second. The second case was thrown out due to the officer not showing up for court. In Illinois, if you do not blow into a device to check how much alcohol you had to d...rink, you automatically get a 3 year suspension on your license. I had a unorganized lawyer at the time who did not help me obtain my license back. Here I am almost 4 years later and I get pulled over for a third. It was devastating because I knew this time it would be bad. I read great reviews about Steve and I called him. Steve was very knowledgeable. Talking to him about my case put me at ease. He gave me the good and bad up front. I hired Steve because he did not sugar coat anything with me and told me what could come of my situation. I knew I was not guilty. But in the eyes of the state your always guilty. Especially with my history. Steve was very organized and efficient. He always kept communication with me. He replied to all my emails and text messages. With a few months of continuing court dates and a bench trial. Steve won my trial. I did not win my 3 year suspension due to me not blowing into the divice when I was pulled over and a few other things. But had I been convicted I would have faced jail time, swap and I would have had to pay a lot more court fees. It would have put my job on the line and god knows what else I would have gone through. I am so happy that I hired Steve. He fought hard for me and did the best he could to get me out of this one and we won.
