Biography
Anthony's approach to defending good people charged with serious crimes has been shaped by his interaction with folks from all walks of life and from all over the world.
Having traveled around the globe, Anthony knows a common problem can be solved by smart people in many different ways. He applies that lesson to his work by approaching criminal cases from many angles, ensuring no stone goes unturned.
With years of experience as a federal Criminal Justice Act panel attorney, Anthony concentrates his practice in Illinois and federal criminal law.
Anthony represents the Sixth Judicial Circuit on the Illinois State Bar Association’s governing assembly and serves on its Criminal Justice Section Council. He is an active member of the Champaign County Bar Association. In 2025 he was elected president of the Champaign Unit 4 Board of Education.
In his free time, Anthony enjoys traveling, finding unique food spots, and working with his hands. He has been volunteering with Habitat for Humanity for much of his life and is experienced in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. He is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician.
Anthony lives in Champaign, Illinois, with his wife Cynthia, their three kids, and the family dog.
