Great for green card process!

Robert and his team did a fantastic job with my green card application. We started off with a free in-person consultation. It was a great first meeting, which gave us a lot of comfort and confidence to work with Robert. He and his team was very thorough and detailed, professional and punctual, extrem...ely prompt in communication and very easy and reliable to work with. I got a call every time USCIS sent a notice, ensuring that I received the notices in mail as well. When I had questions during the process, Robert was very prompt in responding to my emails or giving me calls, and was very knowledgeable. His responses were very much in line what happened in reality, which really helped set expectations and manage anxiety through the process. He came along with us to the interview, and when there was a slight hiccup with my medical form (the doctor didn't fill the form correctly, and I didn't receive a copy of my form i693 for Robert to review), Robert was very assuring and supportive. I received a notice to provide a new i693 form, which Robert reviewed and resubmitted on my behalf. All in all, my green card process was complete in under 6 months. I would highly recommend Milla and Associates.

Excellent Work!

Robert and his team are very professional and very dedicated to their clients. Before we hired Robert we had consulted with a couple other lawyers but none of them were very convincing. Once we consulted with Robert we knew he was the lawyer we wanted to hire, he is very honest, knowledgeable and fri...endly. He helped my husband get his residency through our marriage fairly quickly and he was very straightforward about our case. He provided us with a couple options and prepared us for the worst possible case scenarios. He prepared us very well for the immigration interview and thanks to him it was a success. I would highly recommend Robert to anyone in need of an immigration lawyer.

Knowledgeable and confident

Robert worked on my case that was hopless to be solved for the past 8 years, spending a huge amount of money with other lawyers. Robert said it from the beging and told me what would it take to get this done. Despite my doubts, Robert stayed consistent with his answers and confident with the outcome...s. Finally, I got an approval letter from USCIS for my wife. Thank you Robert for everything you have done for me!

The best layer in Chicago!

No words can describe what Robert Milla did for me! My case was complicated and before I found Robert I went from door to door …. getting more and more frustrating and hopeless! Most of the law firm gave me no chance!Others asked way more money then Robert …with really low posibility of wining! ... He was not only knowledgeable, professional, but also very approachable making the whole process much less stressful. Dealing with legal issues could be super nerve-racking, and I was very glad that Robert helped me with understanding my situation and evaluating all the options in the easiest way possible. I knew I was in good hands. Before Robert I had a really bad expirienc with some other attorney which not cost me a lot but also worsened my situation !Thats why you really should do your resurce on finding a good lawyer you can trust ! Robert Milla is 100% one of them ! I definitely recommend Robert Milla to anyone who needs legal assistance regarding immigration law. Robert You saved my LIFE! I can’t THANK YOU enough!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
