My court martial was 9 months ago and I am still shocked at how it went. The investigation was mishandled and interviews with key people were not conducted. The JAG office thought they would have me with an Article 15 and that I would not fight back against the accusations because I had four accusers.... My case would have been a first for the base if I had been convicted since it dealt with same sex false allegations. If it wasn’t for Katie and Andy, I honestly do not know where my life would be right now. Andy was able to expose all the lies and each of the Jury members were shocked at why it made it as far as it did. Legal and OSI do not care about you or how much of your life you have given to the military. My life literally felt like the next bullet for their EPB and OPRs versus being treated fairly and using common sense. The people that falsely accuse you will have no repercussions and will go on to still make rank and live their lives unaffected. If you find yourself ever in a situation where you need legal assistance, call this amazing team! They will fight for you and do it respectfully and tactfully! I will forever be grateful to them!

Andy Cherkasky is an incredible attorney! If Andy or his team have the availability to take your case, you’d be a fool not to go with them. If you’re being charged with sexual assault/harassment etc., I want you to know you are not going into a fair fight. I cannot stress this enough, the system is ...built to put innocent people away, and without the best, it will. Andy is the best. The politicians have rigged the system against you and you were convicted in their minds the second someone complained. If I didn’t have Andy as an attorney, I truly think the Air Force would’ve succeeded in framing me. Andy handled a falsified and fabricated sexual assault allegation against me and I was amazed. Watching Andy work, albeit from an uncomfortably close seat to the action, was a true master class in trial litigation. As a Maj in the Air Force, I was very familiar about the shady things that JAG/OSI pull, but however bad you think they are, I promise you, they are worse. You probably hear things like “no one is out to get you” or “they’re just doing their jobs” I’m here to tell you they are out to get you! If you have even the smallest allegation levied against you, the AF will take the case all the way; your career will be ruined before you have the first iota of due process. They do not care, at all, about their people and will bend or break regulations and laws to try and screw you. These politically incensed cases like sexual assault/harassment etc. will have the JAG pull out every stop against you no matter how ludicrous or how much exculpatory evidence there is. Andy was able handle every bit of the mountains of BS and low blows the AF handed out. My case took over 3 years to finally get to court due to the Air Force delaying. It started as a GCM and was moved to a BOI. Don’t let the lesser punishments in a BOI deceive you. A BOI has pretty much zero rules and there is no accountability for the “Judge” so they will pull as many sleezy tricks as they can to throw you under the bus. I personally witnessed OSI make statements they were instructed to not, opposing council ask questions they had been explicitly directed not to ask, testify to the jury on evidence not turned over to defense council (this is like Law 101) just to mention a few. These JAG attorneys know better, but they also know there are no consequences for their actions in a BOI. It truly breaks my heart that the military displays this abhorrent behavior that flies in the face of our core values. The fact that HAF allows this to go on is slap in the face to every airman who has ever served. If you haven’t seen Andy and their team on TV, they are fighting this kind of politically influenced behavior from every angle they can. Andy worked tirelessly on my case for 3 years and even helped me with security clearance issues when the AF tried to halt my career in that manner. Throughout that entire process it was always easy to get ahold of Andy for any issue, of which there were many. My words certainly aren’t sufficient or eloquent enough to describe how grateful I am to have had Andy take my case. He is truly fantastic, and it was a pleasure and an honor working with him.

Andy and Katie, are very professional and readily available during my year and half process. I will tell you, be open and upfront with them. As a client your process will be extremely stressful and there will be times Andy and/or Katie will challenge you on facts of the case. Although things might... seem tense during those interactions, trust Andy and Katie are on your side and are working relentlessly on your behalf for the best outcome in your case. They will fight for you, even when you think nothing is happening, things are happening behind the scenes.
