Best Immigration Attorney!

Robert Milla is the best attorney I have seen, who helped me get my marriage-based green card after 2.5 years of long waiting. My case was complicated but he perfectly helped me through this long and stressful process. I will share my experience here so that you can understand why I highly recommend ...him and his firm. Before hiring Robert to help us, I had another two attorneys to file my green card application and to terminate my court case. They all turned out to be not too much helpful and waste my time. Initially I had an NTA and need to see the judge. Before the first master hearing I already had my green card interview completed in Chicago and got my I-130 approved. Because of my pending courts case, the immigration officer has no jurisdiction on my I-485 so I need to see the judge and let judge to terminate my court case. The attorney I hired to represent me in court had totally no idea what she’s doing. Not even prepared for my case before entering the court (not prepare the G-28; don’t know which is our judge’s room; worst thing is not even know how to defense my case against government attorney). It was a nightmare. Because of her bad representation, the judge scheduled a second master hearing set for a half year later. This time I reached out to multiple attorneys and see who can help me terminate the court case. Before coming to Robert, all attorneys I have spoken with over the phone were all not confident with my case after I explained my case background. Someone even say that I can not get the green card at all. In addition, they all charge a consulting fee as well if I want to discuss more. I was so frustrated until I met with Robert. He has an hour in person free consultation which allows me to explain my case and get an idea of whether he has any solution on my case (for other attorneys, I need to pay first before I know they can not win my case). Robert didn’t turn me down. After listening my story, he clearly listed several solutions/paths that I can try step by step. He was the first attorney that has confidence on my case. All his explanations were very convincing with strong professional knowledge backed up. My husband and I decided to go with him on my case. On the court date he showed up well-prepared and arrived there early to signed us up first. Before the judge, he was very organized, precessional, powerful and confidently representing me and arguing with the government attorney. Robert exactly represent ed me the scene I can only see in those legal related movies that how a great attorney perfectly expressing legal opinions and defending with evidence. The judge immediately terminated my case and allowed me to file my I-485 with USCIS. Totally different court experience than last one. Things are not done yet. Robert helped me filed a request to reopen my I-485 with the USCIS because it was admin closed previously. Half year no response and Robert actively follow up with USCIS and also get ombudsman involved to help. After several times follow up, we have been informed that my old I-485 has been denied in USCIS system even if the notice they gave me is admin close. Robert then suggested us to file a new I-485 with USCIS but in the mean time still keeping follow up with the reopen one. When I think I may not getting any update within one year due to the current long processing time, good news comes. I received the interview letter regarding my I-485. My two cases has been combined which means all his effort on both reopen and new application are accepted by processed by USCIS. Before the interview, Robert gave us a phone interview preparation, went through every possible questions and helped me on how to answer my previous court case questions. With his assistance, our interview went very well and the immigration office verbally approved my case. Two weeks later I received my then years green card! This is the first time I wrote such a long review. Robert is a really good attorney and I really

Honest and knowledgeable

Prior to hiring Robert we went to about 10 other attorneys. All other Attorneys gave me the same answers as if reading from a script. Basically telling me I was a lost cause, and would not be able to receive permanent residency in the united states ever. Finally we met with Robert for a free consulta...tion, he not only gave us far more options than the other attorneys, but he was very thorough in explaining all our options. We moved forward and hired Robert to handle our case, We applied for permanent residency, despite prior attorneys telling me I had no chance, as we wanted a permanent solution. We submitted around mid October, the application process was simple and explained to us well by Robert. We also applied for an advanced parole/travel document and a work authorization card. Both got approved and mailed fairly quick. My wife and i traveled to Cancun, Mexico with my advanced parole/travel document. We had absolutely no issues leaving or entering the united states. It went as smooth as it could of possibly went. We got scheduled for an interview on August 17, 2017 since we were applying for permanent residency through marriage. The interview was probably about 20 min at most, Robert was there to answer any questions I couldn't answer. He was there with any missing paperwork that we forgot to take. After about 20 min or so, the immigration official says "Im going to go ahead and approve your case, you should be receiving your green card in 30-45 days". The interview went so smooth, we had no issues what so ever. We are now waiting for the green card to be mailed. Robert did his job and did it well. He submitted and filed the applications correctly the first time and never missed anything. He's an honest attorney, doing what he can to help families. His rates are cheaper than most of the other attorneys we met for a consultation. Don't know what else to say, but he's a great guy. If you're looking for a great immigration attorney, hire Robert.

Great for green card process!

Robert and his team did a fantastic job with my green card application. We started off with a free in-person consultation. It was a great first meeting, which gave us a lot of comfort and confidence to work with Robert. He and his team was very thorough and detailed, professional and punctual, extrem...ely prompt in communication and very easy and reliable to work with. I got a call every time USCIS sent a notice, ensuring that I received the notices in mail as well. When I had questions during the process, Robert was very prompt in responding to my emails or giving me calls, and was very knowledgeable. His responses were very much in line what happened in reality, which really helped set expectations and manage anxiety through the process. He came along with us to the interview, and when there was a slight hiccup with my medical form (the doctor didn't fill the form correctly, and I didn't receive a copy of my form i693 for Robert to review), Robert was very assuring and supportive. I received a notice to provide a new i693 form, which Robert reviewed and resubmitted on my behalf. All in all, my green card process was complete in under 6 months. I would highly recommend Milla and Associates.

Family based GC

My husband applied for my green card and we prepared the documents on our own, but unfortunately I got an RFE for the same documents which we had already submitted. So we thought of hiring a good lawyer for our case, I called up a few lawyers and explained them my case to get 1 free initial consultat...ion, out of the ones we called, I really liked Robert, he was calm, supportive and had a lot of knowledge on such cases. I quickly decided that I would go with him for my case. We met him the next day and discussed our case in detail, soon after we got a list of documents that were needed by his office, we promptly replied, he prepared our xase again , we had dew meetings in between and finally my case was approved, He also helped a lot with our interview prepration and also came with us to the interview venue , where he spent more than 2 hours with us explaining the process, he also appeared with us in the interview and was a great support. I finally cleared the interview under his expert guidance. I would definitely recommend him to my friends.
