Highly recommend Robert!

I am a US citizen. In 2017 June I planned to file for my mother’s permanent residency. At that time my mother was in US on B2 ( visitor visa). I googled for best immigration attorney in Chicago -Milla & Associates popped up! Let me tell you, Robert and his team lived up to the reviews!!! We s...tarted with talking to Robert and he provided hours worth of advise to file permanent residency for my mother. Robert was very patient and answered all our questions and spotted an issue with our case right away. He gave us the option to file myself or to go via him. I went with option of filing myself hoping the issue he spotted won’t become a trouble. Even after deciding to file myself, I had a few follow up questions which he answered over the phone. 4 months later we got a NOID( notice of intent to deny) for the same reason Robert spotted in the first place. We hired him for Respone to NOID. It was such a stressful time preparing and providing supporting documents for the rebuttal response within 30 days. Robert and his team guided what docs needed to be prepared and answered our questions promptly, and was ready to help with any queries and follow up questions. Robert prepared a very strong rebuttal response to the NOID and sent on time. During the period of waiting for an answer from USCIS, he promptly answered my concerns on renewing EAD for my mother. Robert always had a very specific, accurate and clear answer to any queries. And many months later we received an RFE for response to NOID( which in itself is a BIG relief) as NOID was off the plate and USCIS was giving us one more chance. Robert and his team again stepped up to the challenge and gave very specific detailed guidance to prepare the right set of documents and verified and sent them on time. And in September we got the best news we were praying and hoping to hear for the last 2 years, my mother’s Permanent Residency is approved!!! We are very grateful to God and thankful to Robert and his team! We highly recommend Milla and Associates!!!

Successful case for marriage-based green card

Milla & Associates delivers an incredible quality of legal representation and it was an absolute pleasure to work with Robert Milla, Tatiana Alonso, and their team. My husband and I entrusted them with our adjustment of status and green card application. Our case was handled very efficiently, they an...swered our questions at every stage and kept us informed of the next steps and developments throughout the process. Not only that, Robert is highly experienced and has an incredible understanding of immigration law on top of being genuine, personable and transparent. It is really hard to be able to find a good attorney that genuinely cares about the case, he is trustworthy, and I can tell that he does his work with his heart. My adjustment of status/green card was approved within a week from the interview, and I received my conditional green card in the mail a few days after receiving the approval notice. Robert and his team definitely made the entire process seamless. I would strongly recommend Robert Milla for anyone who is looking for a great immigration attorney and to be put in the best position possible with obtaining a green card. Thank you, Robert, for making my husband and I feel at ease as we navigated through uncharted waters.

The best you can get in Chicago!!

I met a few lawyers for my Citizenship / N400 filing. My case was complicated and most of the lawyers I met were willing to do it but didnt give me the confindence that will go through. Finally I met Robert, who explained every single detail, chances of approval and course of action in case of a deni...al and how to proceed. Right then and there, i decided I wanted to go with him....Thank You Robert for all the help and for attending the interview with me...Decision was made in 30 days and im waiting to attend the Oath Ceremony now... Thank You!!

Knowledgeable Attorney and Great Team!

If you are looking for an experienced, honest, knowledgeable attorney, contact Milla and Associates! Last year my wife and I were looking to adjust our status through a family member. After hours of research and two failed consultations, it seemed like adjusting our status would not be possible at... the moment. Then we met Robert. During the initial consultation, Robert looked at the large amount of documents we took with us that pertained to our case and asked us questions. He was able to quickly tell us what could be done with our cases. After questioning him for a while, it was clear that Robert is a honest, knowledgable, professional attorney. He gave us a price for his services which was very reasonable considering the amount of time and work that goes into these cases. The whole green card process was long and there were many documents that had to be gathered and deadlines that had to be met. Thankfully we had the help of Robert and Eyzuri (paralegal). Whenever we had a question, we would contact Eyzuri and she would promptly respond with a thorough answer. If the answer was complex, Robert would contact us and explain the answer to us and clear up any follow up questions. When the time for an interview came, Robert made sure that we were thoroughly prepared. He told us what the procedure would be and answered all of our questions so we wouldn't be nervous. On the day of, Robert came prepared and the interview went smoothly. Two weeks later we received our green card. Last week, my wife and I returned from traveling to our home country of Mexico - something we hadn't done for more than twenty years. We are forever grateful for how easy Robert and his team made this process for our family. The process was long and stressful, but we had their full support the whole time. If you are looking for an immigration attorney, we strongly recommend Robert and his team. Thank you Robert and Eyzuri!!

Great Legal Immigration Choice!

Working with Milla and Associates was an absolute pleasure! When first meeting Robert, my wife and I knew we wanted to work with him. Robert was professional, transparent, and extremely knowledgeable with the immigration process. From his knowledge, he recommended us to take a certain course of ac...tion. In doing so, this was all the difference with my wife getting her green card or not. From the beginning, his team was professional and worked efficiently & effectively to have us meet mandatory deadlines. While we waited for our interview, his team kept us updated with every major step in the process. Robert put us in the best position possible for us to get our green card and we are forever grateful. We strongly recommend Milla and Associates if you need great legal immigration advice and to be put in the best position possible with obtaining a green card.
