Green Card process

Highly recommended, Attorney Robert is very professional and is by far the most knowledgeable in immigration law. He and his staff are very well organized and he worked diligently on my case. I am now a permanent resident and I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for all his outstanding h...elp and support that he provided to me. Working with him was very convenient and efficient. The most important thing is that he charges very reasonable price with the awesome quality of work. I would highly recommend Milla and Associate to anyone seeking any type of immigration services.

Very professional

I spent five hours in total researching for a good lawyer via the internet. After coming across Mr Milla's profile I couldn't believe how many good reviews I've read. The reviews sold me to go in for a consultation. After meeting Mr Milla I knew he can be trusted with my immigration case. After being... here for 27 years I wanted a great lawyer. Even though my case wasn't complicated I was surprised at how smooth everything went. My calls and questions were answered the same day at the latest the next day. That was important for me. From the start to finish I've felt I had someone in my corner helping me. And if I've experienced the same professionalism I'm sure you will too. To whomever is reading this review good luck with your case. And Mr Milla thanks again.

Thank you!

I was wary of attorneys because of a bad experience I had years ago. With Robert's help, that wariness was quickly resolved. Robert answered all of my questions during the case and long afterwards. Robert was always professional and kind, I truly felt he cared about my case and wanted to help me. Tha...nk you Robert, I look forward to working with you in the future!

Honest and knowledgeable

Prior to hiring Robert we went to about 10 other attorneys. All other Attorneys gave me the same answers as if reading from a script. Basically telling me I was a lost cause, and would not be able to receive permanent residency in the united states ever. Finally we met with Robert for a free consulta...tion, he not only gave us far more options than the other attorneys, but he was very thorough in explaining all our options. We moved forward and hired Robert to handle our case, We applied for permanent residency, despite prior attorneys telling me I had no chance, as we wanted a permanent solution. We submitted around mid October, the application process was simple and explained to us well by Robert. We also applied for an advanced parole/travel document and a work authorization card. Both got approved and mailed fairly quick. My wife and i traveled to Cancun, Mexico with my advanced parole/travel document. We had absolutely no issues leaving or entering the united states. It went as smooth as it could of possibly went. We got scheduled for an interview on August 17, 2017 since we were applying for permanent residency through marriage. The interview was probably about 20 min at most, Robert was there to answer any questions I couldn't answer. He was there with any missing paperwork that we forgot to take. After about 20 min or so, the immigration official says "Im going to go ahead and approve your case, you should be receiving your green card in 30-45 days". The interview went so smooth, we had no issues what so ever. We are now waiting for the green card to be mailed. Robert did his job and did it well. He submitted and filed the applications correctly the first time and never missed anything. He's an honest attorney, doing what he can to help families. His rates are cheaper than most of the other attorneys we met for a consultation. Don't know what else to say, but he's a great guy. If you're looking for a great immigration attorney, hire Robert.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
