Marriage Based Permanent Residency

Robert has been absolutely amazing! My husband and I used his services for our marriage based green card application. Our case was not complicated, but we are so happy we hired Robert. He was nothing but helpful and would always make time to schedule a meeting with us or jump on the phone to guide us... through the process and answer our (many) questions. On top of him being friendly and approachable, he knows the immigration law inside out. We can not recommend Robert enough to annyone applying for a marriage based permanent residence.

best lawyer!

Robert Milla is experienced and knowledgeable, he walked me through the process of applying green card through marriage with great patience and attention to details. He always make sure that we make good progress after each meeting and meeting with him is always pleasant. Even after my case ended, he... is so kind to answer the questions i have. Working with him is a pleasant and stress-free experience, i highly recommend Robert to anyone needs a good immigration lawyer.

Highly recommended!

My wife and I used Robert Milla as our attorney to file for my wife's green card (through marriage). He was careful, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive (much better than a previous immigration attorney we hired for a different matter). Everything went smoothly with our application and interview, ...and my wife now has her green card! Highly recommended!

As of today I am a proud and happy American citizen

After 4 years of anguish of what will happen with my case I almost had given up. I kept thinking I had ruined it for my kids and we might have to go back. I met Robert when I was almost burned out from all the worries. It felt like meeting an old friend and we had a talk and went through options. He ...leaves the big words when he works to get the case done, not to show you that he is a great lawyer. But if you trust your heart you will see that you just got lucky stumbling on him. No false promises, I knew all the time where my case was standing and the risks I could face. He thinks ahead and covers all the gaps to get the case done. Later I learned that he actually teaches immigration classes as well but even when he is busy he gets right back to you answering your questions and giving updates. I am very happy I had Robert by my side in my most difficult time and will always keep wishing him well. Thank you Robert you will always have a fond place in our hearts : )

great lawyer!

I needed help with a complicated immigration case for my family (parents-in-law and myself). Robert was very knowledgeable, culturally sensitive and courteous. He is very easy to deal with and seems to be a great person overall. I definitely recommend him to anyone who is seeking help with obtaining ...a green card.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
