Generous with his advice and time.
I called Mr. LaSorsa to explore a complicated employment problem. He asked excellent questions and seemed to really be able to unpack the injustice occurring. He gave sound advice and helped prioritize next steps. He was very generous with his time and respectful of my situation.
Thank you very much and I hope things work out for you.

Go to a robust lawfirm with a big team who are actually willing to put in the work
This attorney markets himself as working on a contingency basis, but my experience suggests that this model is highly conditional and may only apply to cases he deems "low-hanging fruit" for a quick 33% fee. In my opinion, the moment a case requires actual litigation or substantive effort, the fee st...
He doesn't get to determine which cases I take hourly or contingent-- I do. Most peopel who claim to have DONE ALL THE HEAVEY LIFTING, have no idea what they are talking about. I will say this, if this person actually has a good case, lawyers would be lined up around the block to take it on contingency fee basis. The fact that they aren't should speak to his case. Also people who post anonymously are suspect. I don't even know if I spoke with this person as I have no idea who it is.

Prompt Service
I contacted this lawyer through AVVO and he responded very quickly. Throught a quick series of questions he determined my issue and gave me some great advice. I appreciated his prompt handling of my issue. I would highly recommend.
Thank you for the nice review. I wish you all the best.

Informative and Thorough
I called this office and was able to speak with the attorney. Mr. LaSorsa was very informative and thorough. He cut to the chase and determined my issue from a legal standpoint. The other attorneys I spoke with from other firms were not able to do that. I highly recommend.
Thank you for the kind words and best of luck in the future.

Unnecessary comments.
Pretty rude individual. He answers the question I ask, followed by a rude statement. “Get a new job” and “ask another lawyer if you don’t like my answer” i gave him a 2 star instead of 1, because he still answered my initial questions. But avoid this man if you are touchy around people making you fee...
People don't like hearing the straight truth. Sounded like he worked at a horrible place so "get a new job" was sound advice. And I answered him previosly and he didn't like the answer so I said " ask another lawyer if you don't like my answer"......I would give him a one star if I could rate the person asking the question.
"I commend Mr. LaSorsa for his valuable contributions to the AVVO community and I uniformly find his responses demonstrate both his in depth knowledge of the legal issues and good judgment."
"I endorse this Peter LaSorsa. I've read his attorney answers on this site and every one of his answers are spot on. While the site is for general questions and information, Attorney LaSorsa provides honest helpful answers that at the very least point the questioner in the right direction."
"The answers of Mr. LaSorsa are consistently accurate, full of analysis and customized to the needs of the Avvo asker. These are exactly the qualities that every client would look for when hiring an attorney."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. LaSorsa is a highly knowledgeable attorney who achieves excellent results for his clients."
"Pete is an attorney who zealously represents his clients. Any individual or small business owner in Illinois who has legal problems should talk to Pete."
