She puts her client’s needs first and foremost. Ms. Given is well aware of the unique psychological and emotional stresses family law issues can produce. A particular area of family law where Ms. Given flourishes is with cases involving children. Ms. Given has been exclusively practicing in the area of family law since graduating law school. She began her career in Washington, DC, representing and advocating for victims of domestic abuse as a law fellow at the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project. In the DC courts, Ms. Given’s clients found her confidence and expertise reassuring as she helped them obtain orders of protection and favorable divorce and custody judgments. Ms. Given returned to Chicago in 2014 to work with the Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Family Services, where she provided legal services to under-represented men and women going through difficult contested divorces. Ms. Given joined the Taradash Group in December 2014, inspired by Mr. Taradash’s personalized approach to family law, and his deep commitment to his clients.

In law school, she was recognized as a Thurgood Marshall Scholar and was also a recipient of the George Washington Presidential Merit Scholarship and Dean’s Pro Bono Service Award. Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
Morgan and I were counsels on opposite sides of a case recently. In a field where the list of substandard, inattentive and nonresponsive attorneys grows by the week, I was extremely impressed with her quick response time and attention to detail, while advocating for her client's interests without being unreasonable. I absolutely endorse Morgan.
