Jessica Fangman

Jessica Fangman is a passionate and enthusiastic advocate for each of her clients.  Jessica has focused her law practice solely on defending the rights of the accused.  She is empathetic, understanding, and responsive to her clients’ needs.  She has handled hundreds of criminal cases, many of which resulted in favorable outcomes including not guilty verdicts and outright dismissal of charges.  Jessica provides each client a well thought out and thorough legal defense tailored to his or her case.  She guides her clients through the criminal justice system with ease and a fervent passion to ruthlessly advocate on their behalf.  

Jessica is a member of the National College for DUI Defense and she is formally trained in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing.  This year, Jessica was appointed to serve on many committees for the Illinois State Bar Association, including the Criminal Justice Section.  

Jessica lives in Oak Park with her fiancé.  She recently adopted a dog, whom she named Gideon in honor of the Supreme Court Case Gideon v. Wainwright, which established the right to a public defender in serious criminal cases.  Jessica enjoys walking Gideon with her fiancé, reading legal thrillers, and travelling to Colorado to visit her family.
