I'm writing this review after 6 years of being on workers compensation. Mitchell Horwitz successfully negotiated my settlement and helped me with all the road blocks and problems that arise in the work comp world. Cass Black patiently answered all my questions and helped me over come all the obstacles that happened over the course of years with the insurance company. Great team and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has been injured on the job and needs real representation.

Hi this is Sylvia and I just wanted to give a shout out to Mitch in winning my case. It was one of the best case ever. As a Cement Mason Local 502, Mich would come to our union meetings on a regular basis to imform us of our rights. As a school teacher I had learned to listen well.
In May of 2007 I was ran over by a bobcat. I got on that phone and called Mich and oh what a releif. I will never forget Cass who works in the office was there for my family and I holding my hand and helping me through hard times. Team members like Dan, Tyler, Cliff and others were truely a blessing. I wish the team many blessings in your future.

Mitch had represented 2 generations of my family members, quite successfully. So when an unfortunate time came for me to deal with a work injury, I looked nowhere else. I really cannot say enough about the entire staff at Horwitz, every question or concern I had was met almost immediately with a response. I would also like to say his paralegal's, Dan and Cass, answered what seemed like thousands of emails of mine and are nothing short of amazing. Mitch was able to successfully represent me and did not stop until a fair outcome was achieved. I firmly believe he made the difference in my case, which was not an easy one to take on. Kudos to Mitch and kudos to Horwitz for proving again why they are the best.

I was a union 75 laborer 28 years old when I met the fine Team of Horwitz, Horwitz & associates. Since then my life has changed and along with this change came an excellent team to help me and guide me through the dense work comp fog that i traveled through. I would have stressed out twice as hard if it where not for the team of people that care about there clients. For example what attorney would answer there phone for clients when at there daughters volleyball game, I can name one....Mitch Horwitz! It did not matter what time it was or what day it was if you are having questions or issues they are there. Mitch Horwitz even came to my house to meet me when i was in a wheel chair and no words can explane the trust i have for the Horwitz team. When your stressed and lost in this very complicated demon called work comp, Horwitz, Horwitz & associates worry about taking care of you, because in the end they always do! Thank you to Mitch and his whole team of excellent people!

Mitch was able to get my workers comp case approved as an at work injury. The workers comp people had dragged their feet with me for about 2-3 months until I finally had enough and hired Mitch. His staff has been very helpful and they've made sure that I've been able to receive the care I need from surgery to physical therapy to work conditioning. His paralegal Cassandra Black is really great in making sure that the workers comp is paying me when they should and when they aren't paying on time, gets to the bottom of why I'm not being paid. She also makes sure that the bills I receive are being addressed and handled. They've also teamed up with Illinois Physicians Network to make sure that whatever treatments that I had needed to get done, were getting done.

At my first appointment with Horwitz and Horwitz, it was clear that I was in highly capable hands. My injury was a complex case and was handled expertly at every step by compassionate attorneys who relentlessly built the strongest case possible. I was up against a very reputable insurance company and came out on top with my integrity intact. They were confident for a favorable decision from start to finish, even offering encouragement during those few times when I was not feeling particularly positive. They took time to explain each step clearly and concisely, answering every question, recommending strategic courses of action. Thank you for your kindness, professionalism and all your help during this entire time. It was a privilege to work with Mitch, Dave, Cassandra and his entire staff. I was completely impressed with Tyler who was called in during an emergency his competence, integrity and decency are unquestioned. I am proud to have been associated with Horwitz and will recommend their services to everyone.

Back in 2006 when I got hurt at work, I knew who I was going to hire to help me. Mitch Horwitz had represented me previously and had done an A#1 job. He kept my life together by making sure my checks came on time and that I was able to get the medical treatment that I needed. Mitch and his staff have been supportive through this whole frightening situation. They truly made me feel like family. At times I didn't know what I was going to do and Mitch and his staff were there for me every time I called. And I called a lot. When I felt lost at the hands of the insurance company or their doctors, Mitch was able to fight for me and protect and save my benefits. I hardly ever didn't get paid thanks to Mitch and his staff. Mitch and his law firm did an outstanding service for me. I hope that anyone looking for a workers compensation attorney finds Mitch because there is no better.

I have known Mitch a for a very long time through my union and he has helped me whenever I call.. If I ever had an issue that required legal assistance, whether he was representing me or not, he has always been very helpful. He is handling my workers compensation case and after several surgeries I ended up with permanent restrictions. Mitch tried my case was able to get an award from the Arbitrator that protects my weekly checks and my medical treatment for the duration of my disability.
