Joseph Pierce O'Brien

My friend started out with a horrible attorney, but then found Joe. He really turned her case around. He is very proactive, aggressive, and reasonable. Joe was constantly in contact with my friend by phone, text, email, and in-person meetings. He kept her well informed about every relevant issue. Bas...ed on my first hand experience with Joe's handling of my friend's divorce, I recommend Joe VERY highly.

After filing for divorce I originally spent (wasted) a year and half with another law firm, ultimately feeling as if not much was being done for me. As my case became more complex I knew I had to find a different lawyer. I found Joe on this site, I was impressed with all the positive reviews. After m...y initial meeting with him I knew I would be in good hands and quickly found out why he was so highly rated. Joe did more for me in the first couple of months than my other firm had done for me the entire time I was with them. He came up with a strategy and very quickly set the wheels in motion. Even though Joe has other cases going on he makes you feel like you are the priority. I can't say enough for Joe's communication skills, he constantly keeps me up to date and more importantly when I have a question or need to get a hold of him he responds immediately. He clearly makes it known that he is available for you at all times. We just finished a five day trial that involved unusual circumstances and had an enormous amount of detail. We won't know the ruling of the trial for a couple of months but no matter what the end result I feel that Joe did a fantastic job. Not only did he work very hard on his own to prepare for this case but he made sure we worked together and was open to my input. Joe's preparation included making me feel confident and comfortable at the trial, which I feel made all the difference. I honestly can't say enough positive things about Joe. He has made a very stressful time in my life much easier to navigate.

I had been married for 30 years. and all of sudden my husband asked me for a divorce. I was in total shock and dismay to say the least. I was given Joe O'Brien's name, from a friend of a friend. I really wanted closure to this chapter in my life and Joe, went above and beyond, to make this happen. Including corresponding with me up until 9 o'clock the night before my final court date, and back at it, at 6 am the morning of my court date, Just to get the last minute amendments that I threw at him. With his diligence and commitment we were able to get everything completed so I could close this chapter in my life, once and for all. If he hadn't followed through, it could very well have been weeks and weeks, if not a couple of months to get this finalized. I do not wish for anyone to have to go through a divorce. But if you do, I would 110% recommend Joseph Pierce O'Brien at the law offices of Roberts and Associates P.C. located in Wheaton Illinois.
