I was referred to Joe from a friend that used him, and I am so glad we hired Joe. He helped us navigate a year long battle with my narcissistic ex and the trying opposing counsel my ex hired. Joe is NOT a lawyer that is a money grabber and tries to extend the case as long as possible. He did ever...ything he could to try to move our case along in the system, because he actually cares about his clients (I know, a shocker in the lawyer world!) He was honest and patient with us, and responded in a timely matter for calls and emails. I felt that he billed us very fairly as well (I went through 3 lawyers in my first court case, and some of them billed for the most ridiculous things). Near the last 3/4 of our case, it was financially rough to pay in full for a few of the bigger court date months. Joe was extremely understanding and let us do a payment plan which helped a lot and we were very grateful for. Not everyone is willing to do this, so it truly shows Joe is compassionate and sympathetic to what his clients are dealing with financially and emotionally during an already stressful time. Mornings before court status, Joe would call me to make sure he had all the facts correct and we would go over a quick synopsis of what he was going to bring up to the judge. He argued well for my case, and stood up for the best interest of my child. There were a few things I was stubborn on when I shouldn't have been, and Joe would calmly explain to me what he thought was the best route to take and why. He never spoke down to me in these instances and treated me as an equal. I did listen to his advice and I am really glad I did. I started out with what he said was, "one of the worst agreements I've ever seen" and we got it to a much, much better place. Some of this was due to my ex making extremely poor decisions and the GAL realizing my ex was not going to change, but Joe helped in crafting a well written agreement. When the GAL gave us her recommendation synopsis, it was a hastily written, poorly worded document. She left out so much of what we had talked about and what she said she recommended in front of the judge. I basically crafted the entire final agreement, and put in almost everything Joe had written in his original draft. In the end, we did not have to go to trial and my ex lost a lot of his decision making abilities and visitation. Lastly, I appreciated Joe's legal assistants. They were always very kind and helpful. Whenever I needed something, they usually responded very quickly which I really appreciated. TLDR: -Joe will argue well for you and not waste your money -Joe will try to move your case along as best he can in the very slow court system -Joe actually cares for his clients

If only I had hired him from the beginning! There is no air of superiority when talking with him, which made me feel comfortable asking questions and voicing my opinion. I also appreciated being treated as an equal. He respected my ideas, opinion, and the work I did behind the scenes to provide the information he needed. Joe is a moral and ethical attorney who genuinely cares about his clients. Unfamiliar with what the divorce process entailed, he and his staff (Jenn is his paralegal and she is so personable!), always answered my questions quickly and clearly. On any given day, I knew what was happening and what the next steps would be. Staying informed allowed me to confidently move forward with my own goals and priorities, while embracing change as an inevitable part of life. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my case. I think my ex-husband and his attorney were shocked by how quickly Joe flipped the script and held his ground. I would highly recommend Joe to anyone who wants a fair and just divorce without stooping to a low level. I'm walking away with my dignity intact. Joe was a referral from a referral. I am so fortunate to have hired him to handle my three year divorce. He was the voice of reason throughout the entire process. He and his staff treated me with respect and were extremely responsive to phone calls, emails and texts. It wasn’t uncommon to get an imme...diate reply from Joe even after hours and on the weekends. His billing practices are honest and fair and you always know where you stand. I feel he genuinely tried to keep my fees to a minimum. He fought for a settlement that was fair and equitable, always with my input. He is respected by both his peers and the Judge in our case who specifically mentioned his professional conduct at the conclusion. I would hire him again without hesitation.

I hired Joe based on the excellent reviews I read about him. I am so glad I did. I had researched several other lawyers but Joe made a great first impression when I called him with the suspicion that the wife was planning to file for divorce. He patiently talked to me on our initial free call/consul...tation and developed a pre-plan for when the time came to actually hire him. The time soon came and I hired him. My situation was not the traditional situation where the man works full-time and the woman stays home with the kid(s). My situation was the reverse of this. Joe developed a plan and the chaos of my utterly crazy and bitter divorce began. Throughout all of the crazy twists and turns - the ex pulled some crazy moves and made many false claims - Joe kept me grounded and focused. There were many times that I was willing to give in and/or give up due to the stress but Joe kept me in the game and I am so glad he did. The final outcome of the case was better than I could have hoped for. Joe even uncovered some finances that I was unaware of and recovered what was lawfully mine.
