Nancy helped me with dealing with an adverse SS8 determination by the IRS. She was very professional and kind and insightful. Her experience in handling this issue was readily apparent. I would not hesitate to recommend her. It was definitely worth paying her for her time. Thank you, Nancy!

A Trusted Business Partner
Working with Nancy Joerg is a real pleasure. Each time I contact her for guidance I learn something valuable – even after 17 years in Human Resources. She always provides critical insights to help us manage risk. Nancy never hesitates to consult colleagues at Wessels Sherman if they have more expertise in a particular area to ensure she provides the best advice possible. She’s much more than our attorney, she is a trusted business partner and friend to our company and to me as the HR Director.

Fantastic attorney
Nancy Joerg at Wessels Sherman was a Godsend to me. She helped me through a very difficult audit from the government and I don't know what I would have done without her. I think that every business owner needs an employment attorney like Nancy to help them navigate the difficult legal world we live in. She always responded to me immediately and she helped calm my nerves though the audit process which was very stressful. She is an expert at employment law with a focus on independent contractors. I would highly recommend her to anyone and I'm so glad I found her. She is the best of the best.

"Nancy keeps up with the dynamic law of Illinois regarding the workplace. She kindly advises employees with problems even though that is not part of practice and she is generous with her time and thoughts. This combination of technical skill and empathy is to be prized. Would not hesitate to refer and employer case to her. Top notch legal mind!"
