We have hired Jerry three times and have been very satisfied with the level of professionalism, results and responsiveness. HIs staff is also wonderful and very easy to work with. We definitely would recommend him to anyone who needs legal counsel!

DUI case

I am a Texas resident and was caught drinking and driving in Illinois. Mr. Novak was highly referred by Mimi Coffey in Illinois to be one of the most successful in DUI, DWI cases. I decided to hire Mr. Novak and from the start I was very happy Mr. Novak. As soon as I got in contact with him he acted ...fast and started working on my license suspension. The results of him acting fast and being prepared he got my license suspension overruled and dismissed. On a side note this in my second DUI/DWI case. Mr. Novak is highly prepared and well experience. You will not be left disappointed. Definitely recommend his services!!!

Excellent DUI Defense

As an individual with a family, being a multiple DUI offender was a horrific experience for me. It affected my finances, my career, my family and my self esteem. The anxiety through the legal process was intense and as the end neared it was clear to me that my life as I knew it was going to be o...ver. But time after time, Jerry kept reassuring me there were still possibilities for a decent outcome. He wasn’t giving up even when I started to. Well, the man was absolutely right. He knew there were enough details in my case that added up in my favor in the end. He knows “this game” that must be played and I’m not sure there is anyone better. He was extremely professional, open and honest about the entire process. He always returned calls even when extremely busy. His Office Manager Nicole is also one of those essential people and I am betting he could not run his business without her. If you need help....call him! If he can’t do it, I’m not sure anyone else can! Thank you Jerry!

BAIID Violation Explanation Letter

I came on Avvo because I needed an experienced DUI attorney to vet my BAIID violation explanation letter. For some reason, my previous attorney was not able to assist me. After doing some research, I had selected a few attorneys who I reached out to regarding my BAIID violation explanation letter. I ...spoke with all the attorneys and Mr. Novak was the only attorney to ask me detailed questions about my case. The other attorneys asked no questions and simply told me to send the draft letter followed by payment or their office receptionist call me back for further instructions. Despite the other attorney’s excellent reviews and fees, I chose to go with Mr. Novak. Mr. Novak show interest during our initial conversation. He asked me detailed questions about my whole DUI case. He wasn’t just looking to review my BAIID violation explanation letter but he wanted to understand my entire case so that he can assist me better. After I sent him my draft letter he called me back to review the entire letter together. He respectfully told me the letter was a disaster but I didn’t understand why until we reviewed the entire letter word for word. He was right, my letter was a disaster. There were a couple of critical facts that failed to include. This was only identified because Mr. Novak asked the right questions. For this reason, he was able to provide more value. We reviewed it one last time before I sent the letter to the Secretary of State. After our final review, I felt very comfortable and confident about the letter. When then began to talk about life. He was telling me his personal experiences of always “doing the right thing”. He shared many words of wisdom with me and it made me feel much better. There is more I would like to share with everyone but I won’t for the sake of brevity. Towards the end of our conversation, Mr. Novak asks me for a favor. He asked if I can call him back with the results. He wanted to know if the Secretary of State accepted or rejected my BAIID violation explanation. This is a perfect example that he truly does care for his clients and his work. Being a multiple DUI offender I have experience working with several attorneys. Mr. Novak was by far the most caring and understanding person I had ever met. He did not act like a typical attorney but more as a caring friend. I feel blessed to have found Mr. Novak to help me with my situation. If you are reading this, please take my advice and go with Mr. Novak. He genuinely cares for his clients and I promise you he will deliver beyond your expectations. Mr. Novak, regardless of the outcome of the letter. I’m truly thankful for your investment in me.
