For almost two years I felt like I was spinning my wheels and going nowhere fast in my divorce. When I decided it was time to change my representation, I turned to Becky. I knew right away I was going to be in good hands with her. She was able to communicate much more effectively, with the opposing c...ounsel and we didn't have meaningless court dates. I knew she was on my side and tried to get the MSA finalized, as soon as possible. She would take time to explain things to me, as my head was still spinning from the end of a 30 year marriage. Not once did she agree to something without talking with me first. In July of this year, my divorce was finalized, and if it is possible to say that there is a "good ending" in a divorce, I think I came as possible to one, thanks to Becky. When Becky took over my case, things started to move us towards a fair settlement. I would most likely still be in the process of getting divorced, if Becky had not taken my case.

Since my divorce was initiated by my ex-wife after I had moved almost a thousand miles away, I knew that I needed to find an attorney that would advocate for me and that I could trust. Mrs. Zeilenga filled this bill perfectly, keeping me updated throughout the process, honoring my requests (when able...), providing advice, and ensuring that I understood everything that was occurring. She made recommendations about what I should or shouldn't do or how to proceed based off of my desires and needs. I might not have gotten everything that I wanted in my final papers, but I am confident that I got as much as I would be able to under the letter of the law. Divorce can be an emotional event and Mrs. Zeilenga is not your shoulder on which to cry. She is very down-to-business and matter-of-fact while still remaining courteous and understanding. Her professional demeanor is exactly what I wanted in my attorney. Though I hope to never find myself in need of her services in the future, I would not hesitate to use her again. I HIGHLY recommend Mrs. Zeilenga for issues that necessitate a family law attorney. She certainly made a difficult process as easy as possible.

Moved my slow case to her, during consultation, after asking if she would fight for me. The majority of the work was done by previous attorney whom started to drag his feet. Heard from both attorneys how it was a simple case and shouldn't take long", as it continued to drag on with accumulating co...st. She made no advancement, if anything added insult to injury as she had charged for meeting with adversarial lawyer, during discovery, to educate him on bank statements since he didn't "understand". She reversed the charge for that meeting but soaked me enough in other charges for work which advanced my case no further than the previous lawyer. Divorce lawyers are very good at seeing how much monies you have and how far they can drag it out separating you from your funds and the courts do not care. I do not recommend her. Shameful
