I met Becky on a Saturday morning in her office and hired her on the spot! After using numerous attorneys in the past (total of 4) who all failed to accomplish anything and made things worse, I finally felt confident that this could be the year that things turned around for us. Up to this point my da...ughter had already spoken to a Judge in chambers when just a young teen, and although there were some changes to non-custodial parental visits and child support it wasn't the best scenario for my child. I am able to say, without disclosing too much about our case, that visitation was now not only diminished but also supervised which was a huge sigh of relief. I owe this to Becky, had we met Becky years ago we wouldn't have to be in court for 17 years! In a few weeks Becky gave us our life back! I credit her extensive knowledge in family law (and talks you off the ledge if you feel you are close to losing it), her great relationship with Judges, Attorneys and GAL's and her calm, confident, truly caring demeanor. Becky gives you her all, she is always prepared, has all her paperwork, notes, documentations in order, is extremely organized and truly does an outstanding job of representing her clients. Finally, something that is important to me and that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE about Becky is that she is quick to call or email you back immediately (I sent her numerous emails and never once did I not get a reply), and this is comforting when you have last minute questions or concerns before a court appearance. She is truly a sincere, caring, honest individual. She will not sugar coat anything nor tell you what you want to hear. You will get HONESTY and what to expect at all times so there are no surprises. Again, had I met Becky years ago I would have alot more money in the bank because this case would have been resolved years ago and without spending a fortune on other attorneys who did zero for me. I wholeheartedly, 100% recommend Becky Zeilenga. You can't be in better hands and I truly mean that.

I hired Becky to handle a domestic matter for me. She did a very good job helping me understand the legal process, what steps we had to go through, and the possible timing of things. She listened to my concerns and did a good job of making sure my concerns were addressed. She was prompt in getting in...formation to me or preparing materials, and we met all our deadlines, though she had to hound opposing council for their information pretty much every time anything was due from them. She is very professional, but is also aware of the emotional issues that come with legal issues and made me feel very comfortable and that I was in good hands. In the end, I am very happy with the resolution, I feel she really protected my interests. When I was selecting a lawyer I chose her over some other referrals I had for several reasons: her office was close to mine, they have other offices near my workplace, and she works in an office with quite a few other lawyers with various expertise, so I felt I was hiring the entire firm, not just her (for instance she called in an associate to help me on a different business matter, and it was nice to have that expertise available without having to search for another lawyer.) I will definitely continue to use her and Anderson for any legal matter I have.

I have been working with Becky since September of 2013 on obtaining a divorce. I found her to be very professional and knowledgeable in bringing me through the process. While I found myself venting often with regards to getting through the divorce process, she was quite understanding of my frustra...tions. Her guidance was always in my best interest and kept me focused. On a few occasions in her absence I spoke with her staff and they were courteous and assisted me with my needs. I selected this law firm after making a few calls out of the phone book, I liked my first impression of the person answering the phone and the quick response to my call. Becky has been a great asset to us as we've traversed the steps necessary to obtain full custody of our granddaughter. She has been very responsive to all our many, many questions (whether submitted verbally, or via email) throughout the process. She has also explained the legal process and proactive...ly volunteered information that she knew would be important to us before we knew enough to even ask. Becky understands what is truly important to us. We believe this is because she has taken the time to really listen to us and understand who we are, the position we are in, and what our desired "end-state" is. She offers pro's and con's of options we can pursue, along with her advice on the best approach when those situations arise. In the coming months, we expect movement in our case and, when that occurs, we will not hesitate to ask her for her advice on the approach and timing of these next steps. This is because we have developed a trust in her expertise and her ability to apply it to meet our objectives.

Becky Zeilenga is a knowledgeable and effective advocate. She did a phenomenal job with my divorce case. My situation was complicated because my son and I are located in New York while my ex-husband lives in Chicago. I had to interview attorneys on the phone in order to find the right match, and righ...t from the outset, Becky had a complete handle of the situation, answering every detailed question I had with ease. She immediately exhibited knowledge and experience, and her rate was reasonable too. From the outset, Becky gave excellent advice about how to proceed with the case, suggesting that we proceed with child-related issues in New York and proceed with the rest of the issues in Chicago. She corresponded with the opposing counsel to expediently finalize this issue. Later, when thornier issues were raised (with respect to finances and money my ex-spouse owed me), Becky informed me of what was feasible and what was not and firmly advocated on my behalf in order to make sure I got what I deserved under the law. The judge ultimately sided with her. As a law student, I also have to say that I was very impressed with the quality and research of Becky's arguments and memos--airtight arguments. Lastly, I also wanted to mention that Becky went out of her way to make sure the case did not drag on for longer than it had to, and I really appreciate that. Her knowledge, forceful advocacy, and her consideration of her client's needs definitely made this an unconditionally positive experience for me. I hope to remember this experience as a practicing attorney in the future. :)
