Divorce is insanely difficult for most of us and my divorce was no different. My marriage of 15 years ended and had a number of somewhat complicated aspects...contentious spouse, non-working spouse, somewhat complicated assets, and an aggressive attorney on the other side. Becky maneuvered, in ever...y instance, with skill and thoughtfulness and in a way that was also very personal and personable. I hear complaints about divorce attorneys all of the time and I met a good number of very bad divorce attorneys with no scruples or ethics. Unfortunately, it is more common than one could ever imagine with divorce attorneys. It is relatively rare to find such a personable and skillful divorce attorney that has your best interests at heart while also being an effective and efficient attorney. Becky is one of those attorneys. She will work to advance your standing in a divorce, however, like all legal matters, it is just natural that you can't get everything you want. Most importantly though, Becky is a fair minded and dedicated attorney that will work closely with you to achieve the best scenario that can be achieved. She will not over promise you or instigate you into unnecessary actions or charges. She will guide you to the best possible solution and work to achieve the best possible solution. When attorneys are not straight with you and when they do whatever you want, they garner more fees. Becky does not operate that way. She is pragmatic and even when I didn't want to hear the reality at certain intervals and when I wanted to litigate more and more, she was always the voice of reason and very pragmatic. The law is actually kind of straightforward, and maybe not always logical as far as my prism is concerned, however, Becky knows the law really well and can maneuver to your best solution and with an efficiency that will keep the costs as minimal as they can be. Trust me when I tell you that there are far too many divorce attorneys that simply want to see both parties fight endlessly. Unfortunately, the law is plain enough to understand that fighting between two parties only ends up benefiting the attorneys. If you are reading this review, good luck in your divorce process as it is not typically an easy process. Just keep your head about you and I can only hope that you are smart enough and lucky enough to have an attorney like Becky in your employ.

I met Becky on a Saturday morning in her office and hired her on the spot! After using numerous attorneys in the past (total of 4) who all failed to accomplish anything and made things worse, I finally felt confident that this could be the year that things turned around for us. Up to this point my da...ughter had already spoken to a Judge in chambers when just a young teen, and although there were some changes to non-custodial parental visits and child support it wasn't the best scenario for my child. After explaining the entire overwhelming story to Becky, we had a court date that coming Monday (meaning she had to get all these documents and case ready over the weekend) we appeared in court where a different Judge requested my daughter be present and met with her in chambers (now 16 years old) with both attorneys present. It was the best day of our lives! Becky has a really wonderful professional demeanor, great relationship with other attorneys and Judges and this was the turning point for my daughter. After many stressful years (total of 17) in court, we finally won and the Judge ruled in our favor. My daughter was finally able to focus on her school work, applying to colleges and finally have a life free of court houses, speaking to multiple Judges and GAL's. I am able to say, without disclosing too much about our case, that visitation was now not only diminished but also supervised which was a huge sigh of relief. I owe this to Becky, had we met Becky years ago we wouldn't have to be in court for 17 years! In a few weeks Becky gave us our life back! I credit her extensive knowledge in family law (and talks you off the ledge if you feel you are close to losing it), her great relationship with Judges, Attorneys and GAL's and her calm, confident, truly caring demeanor. Becky gives you her all, she is always prepared, has all her paperwork, notes, documentations in order, is extremely organized and truly does an outstanding job of representing her clients. Finally, something that is important to me and that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE about Becky is that she is quick to call or email you back immediately (I sent her numerous emails and never once did I not get a reply), and this is comforting when you have last minute questions or concerns before a court appearance. She is truly a sincere, caring, honest individual. She will not sugar coat anything nor tell you what you want to hear. You will get HONESTY and what to expect at all times so there are no surprises. Again, had I met Becky years ago I would have alot more money in the bank because this case would have been resolved years ago and without spending a fortune on other attorneys who did zero for me. I wholeheartedly, 100% recommend Becky Zeilenga. You can't be in better hands and I truly mean that.

I hired Ms Zeilenga for my divorce and child custody case. She went above and beyond and was able to get me everything that I asked for, including sole custody of my children and removal from state. She is compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Ms. Zeilenga was not only my attorn...ey, she was my advocate and my strength when I felt defeated. She gave me my life back while making the process as pleasant and smooth as possible. I hired Becky to handle a domestic matter for me. She did a very good job helping me understand the legal process, what steps we had to go through, and the possible timing of things. She listened to my concerns and did a good job of making sure my concerns were addressed. She was prompt in getting in...formation to me or preparing materials, and we met all our deadlines, though she had to hound opposing council for their information pretty much every time anything was due from them. She is very professional, but is also aware of the emotional issues that come with legal issues and made me feel very comfortable and that I was in good hands. In the end, I am very happy with the resolution, I feel she really protected my interests. When I was selecting a lawyer I chose her over some other referrals I had for several reasons: her office was close to mine, they have other offices near my workplace, and she works in an office with quite a few other lawyers with various expertise, so I felt I was hiring the entire firm, not just her (for instance she called in an associate to help me on a different business matter, and it was nice to have that expertise available without having to search for another lawyer.) I will definitely continue to use her and Anderson for any legal matter I have.

Becky has been a great asset to us as we've traversed the steps necessary to obtain full custody of our granddaughter. She has been very responsive to all our many, many questions (whether submitted verbally, or via email) throughout the process. She has also explained the legal process and proactive...ly volunteered information that she knew would be important to us before we knew enough to even ask. Becky understands what is truly important to us. We believe this is because she has taken the time to really listen to us and understand who we are, the position we are in, and what our desired "end-state" is. She offers pro's and con's of options we can pursue, along with her advice on the best approach when those situations arise. In the coming months, we expect movement in our case and, when that occurs, we will not hesitate to ask her for her advice on the approach and timing of these next steps. This is because we have developed a trust in her expertise and her ability to apply it to meet our objectives.
