Amazing attorney - won our stepparent adoption petition

Jeni was an absolute joy to work with. She is extremely smart, knows the law and most importantly does what is right for the clients. We had an extremely complex stepparent adoption case that involved abandonment among other factors. The birth parent wouldn't consent so we had an uphill battle for termination of parental rights. Jeni did a great job during our hearing and prepped us very well for the questions. Our family couldn't be happy with her work and the outcome of our case. I would absolutely recommend Jeni to anyone!

While in law school, Jennifer was involved in Law Women’s Caucus, serving as the President and Treasurer, North Dakota Law Review and the law school’s yearly orientation program. In 2012, she was awarded The National Association of Women Lawyer’s Outstanding Law Student for her involvement in law school and leadership abilities. Jennifer serves on the Board of Governors for the State Bar Associaion of North Dakota, is a member of the Cass and Clay County Bar Associations. She also serves as a Board Member for the F5 Project. Jennifer volunteers with the Junior Achievement Program, and has done so since 2007. She also volunteers with Dress for Success and the American Heart Association. Jennifer previously served as the President-Elect and President of the State Bar Association of North Dakota’s Young Lawyer’s Section. Jennifer currently resides in West Fargo with her husband, Nathan, and their children, Hudson and Sloane. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, baking, and any outdoor activities.

Child Custody

Jennifer is the best family lawyer! She is helpful with explaining what you should expect throughout the custody process, even if it is not always what you want to hear. Jennifer is very personable and always quick to respond to any questions or issues that arise during your case. She helped us to establish child custody, a parenting plan, and a child support review; and is still there now for any questions or issues that come up. I highly recommend Jennifer!

Highly Recommend

Child Custody Jurisdiction

Ms. Albaugh helped us with a multiple state child custody case. She was easy to work with and confident in her understanding of the law being in our favor during the entire process. She was able to have the ND case dismissed and kicked back to SD for our custody fight regarding an infant my husband and I have been raising for over half a year, majority of the child's life. We were very pleased with Ms. Albaugh handling the case.

What a relief to attain a lawyer of this caliber!!!

I was so lucky in finding Jeni. I had been divorced for 8 years and my ex decided to try to relocate with kids. Jeni very promptly got the ball rolling for my case with such vigor and compassion. She was really ready to go, but at the same time didn't give any guarantees, so I appreciated her honesty. She worked very hard on my case and the outcome surpassed my expectations. She was easy to contact and I never had to wait too long to get responses from her. I would recommend her services to anyone needing family law representation. She was worth every dollar I spent and hopefully I will never need her again, but she is my Lawyer for Live (LFL)!

FABULOUS!

Jeni is an exceptional family law lawyer! She handled our child custody case very professionally, but compassionately as well. She was always prompt to return phone calls and email. 5 stars is not enough

Jennifer was so kind, understanding, and compassionate with my case. I really felt as though she had my best interests in mind, yet always respected my point of view. Although the nature of my case was relatively straight-forward, I never got the feeling that I was being rushed through the process or that my case was on "auto-pilot". Jennifer made sure I understood the steps being taken and walked me through the entire process. Knowing what to expect at every turn made the drastically life-changing event much less overwhelming. I chose Jennifer to represent me based on other reviews I had read about her, and I couldn't be more thankful that I did. The stress and intimidation of the legal divorce process was largely minimized once her genuine concern for her clients became evident.

Amazing

Excellence

Jennifer was so prepared and professional. She completely "Outlawyered" the other lawyer. She was so organized trial time was cut down. Jennifer is a younger lawyer but she made the opposing counsel look like this was his first trial. I am a Male and rightfully got custody of my son which is a very difficult task in this society and legal system and she showed the proper information without dragging anyone through the mud and hurting feelings

Fabulous Attorney!!!

Jeni was amazing! This was my first, and hopefully my last experience ever using an attorney. As a young mother, I was very unsure of my legal rights when it came to custody of my son. She always answered my questions truthfully, even when the truth may not have been what I wanted to hear. All of my concerns were always addressed right away, and I never had to wait long on any information I needed. She was very detailed, timely, friendly, and most importantly, professional. I would absolutely hire her as my attorney again if I ever needed further representation!

Jeni was my divorce attorney but she was more than that. She was friend also. She was always available for calls and also got back to me right away when I left email or phone call with question. She so nice but don't let that fool you. She is one tuff lawyer and won't take any grief from other attorney that might try to get one over on you. She is very knowledgeable. Outstanding service!

I was working with a wonderful attorney on family matters who moved out of state. I was upset to learn I had to find someone else to represent me. I didn't know where to begin. I was given a referral to Jennifer's office .I was a little hesitant at first, being she was someone new to me, but after meeting with her, all my worries were put to rest. Highly recommend!

I hired Jennifer when I was going through my divorce. On our initial consult, she walked me through the entire process. Anytime I had a question or concern, she answered me within a few hours. She kept in contact with me and made sure I was up to date on everything that was happening. I've had friends who have gone through nightmare divorces, so I was a bit worried about how it would turn out. She made things quick and painless. She's incredibly intelligent and friendly. Everyone I spoke to at the law office was welcoming. I highly recommend her and the firm she works for. I'm thankful for everything she did for me. She's a rockstar!

Perfect choice!

Very glad that Jennifer was my attorney. Professional, organized, and easy to talk to. She understood my situation and gave me very good legal advice, while still taking my desires into account. I would absolutely use Jennifer's services again if need be, and I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a totally professional yet affordable attorney who will tirelessly work to ensure your best interests. Child custody cases are difficult and emotional. I'm glad I had Jennifer on my side - she made the process understandable, less intimidating, and I always felt better after talking with her.
