My lawyer failed to do many things for my case. My son's dad is not his biological father and the very first thing that Jen should have done was to try to get his name removed from the birth certificate before even taking him to court. She should have also had the DNA test court ordered for evidence ...later. These are all things I learned that should have happened before our court hearing not until after this happened. Jen didn't guide me personally into the right decisions that could have helped me keep my son. After our case was done and the temporary hearing was finished, I wanted to switch judges due to a conflict of interest and Jen never informed me I could do so until after it was too late. The judge that I had doesn't favor mom winning cases, which I also didn't find out until after, but Jen should have known which judge would benefited in our case. I would never spend $10,000 on this lawyer. It's not the fact that I didn't win the case, it's the fact that Jen didn't do my case the way she should have. I have talked to several different lawyers after her whom all told me that she didn't present my case the way she should have. I wouldn't recommend her to any parents trying to win the custody of their child if their case is messy.

I was so lucky in finding Jeni. I had been divorced for 8 years and my ex decided to try to relocate with kids. Jeni very promptly got the ball rolling for my case with such vigor and compassion. She was really ready to go, but at the same time didn't give any guarantees, so I appreciated her hone...sty. She worked very hard on my case and the outcome surpassed my expectations. She was easy to contact and I never had to wait too long to get responses from her. I would recommend her services to anyone needing family law representation. She was worth every dollar I spent and hopefully I will never need her again, but she is my Lawyer for Live (LFL)!

I hired Mrs. Albaugh to draft a premarital agreement for me. This is was my first experience with hiring a lawyer to draft a legal document, therefor it is difficult for me to judge her effectiveness. Maybe she is the best lawyer in the world, I don't know. I do know that I could have had someon...e else draft the same thing for a lot more money. Her rates seemed pretty reasonable from all the research I have done. She was also easy to work with. Her availability for meetings was fantastic and she kept the time I needed to spend on this to a minimum. Because I have no legal background I don't know how well the document will hold up in court. That would be the true test. Hopefully I won't find out. I did not rate excellent because of some miscommunications about details of the document. They were all cleared up quickly and were no big deal. I'm a tough grader. 4/5 is pretty good and is better than average. I would give 9/10 but that's not an option. I would hire her again if need be. That's a better indication of how she rates than the number of stars I give her.
