I hired Emily after being served court papers from my child's father who hadn't been around in 6 years and all of a sudden wanted joint custody. Emily listened while I explained my situation to her, she then took matters into her own hands and made this horrible process seem so simple. I did nothing, but followed her directions ( be polite and document everything ). With all of Emily's help I won that battle and he was not granted joint custody & he was order to pay child support as well and that's not why we initially went to court. Emily is GREAT at what she does and without her I'm not sure how that situation would've turned out. Anytime anyone asks me if I know a good attorney I always refer them to her. I'd hire her again without a doubt!

THERE ARE MUCH BETTER Attorneys for free (pro bono) of same fee or less. Here is my STRONG opinion and break dn. 1. She charges per your income, (u get less than what u paid for. 2 She speaks a good game to hook u 3. she seemed to side with the attorney for the other party's attn. way more than mine. I thought my attn. was the enemy. She doesn't do what you ask for you own case, TOTALLY UNPREPARED to DEFEND, she was looking more to me for answers, AT the trial. HOW does a "MAN" loose his custody w/o primia facia or "just cause" this was a bad bad terrible defense. But when it was time to pay, she was on it. I do NOT recommend this attn:

Emily Cooper and her staff are the best. Very affordable and willing to take payments. Explained everything along the way and very kind. I am so thankful for their help.

Emily Cooper represented me in a post divorce custody case issue. She was helpful, knowledgable, reliable, and knew how to navigate through the legal system. (And we won!)
I will turn to her again in the future if needs arise and would gladly an openly recommend her services to others in the future.

This is a great lawyer. My ex wife had somehow gotten my child support raised to $1000 a month. My first lawyer, which I will be writing a review on him shortly, did nothing but cost me $10000. Emily not only got my child support dropped in half, but got 90% of arrearers dropped. Great lawyer and will continue to pay her to create a war chest as my ex will never go away. Hire her. She is worth it.

I would recommend Emily to my closest friends and family. I spent over $20,000 with another attorney to try to resolve my custody issue. Emily took time to get up to speed on my case and it was resolved shortly after I hired her with my terms. She was always organized, never made a mistake and had everything in order for court. Thank you Emily.

Ms. Cooper is very knowledgeable and experienced in the Social Security Disability appeals process and was able to explain the essential aspects of the process to my brother and myself in a very clear and succinct manner. She was very easy to talk to and answered all of our questions. Her relaxed, confident demeanor was very reassuring and heartening. She was accommodating and generous with her time, provided us with excellent guidance and seemed to genuinely want to be helpful. Since our initial meeting, Ms. Cooper has been very responsive to calls and emails and I am confident that she will work hard to support us in my brother’s SSD appeal.
