John T. Fields

Attorney John T. Fields was retained to represent me in a divorce action where my infant child was taken out of the country by her mother. Attorney Fields knowledge, experience, and expertise brought this matter to a swift and beneficial disposition. Attorney Fields and representatives of his office... handled this matter with integrity, professionalism, compassion, and dignity. Their efforts were invaluable in bringing my situation to a favorable conclusion. My daughter was returned, and my divorce was finalized to my satisfaction.

I appointed John Fields as my attorney in my custody case for my son. He filed an emergency motion. The judge essentially told him he hadn't followed the correct procedure, and ordered him to file things correctly. He never filed that second motion. So here I am, out $3,000 and nothing was accomplish...ed. I fired him as my lawyer, and retained new counsel. It's sad that his lack of follow through caused me so much wasted time and money. Look elsewhere, there are lawyers locally who wont waste your time and money. I'd really appreciate my money back, as I've had to hire someone else, however I haven't received any response back from him or his office.

I hired Attorney Fields to help me with my divorce and custody. It was a very complicated process with custody, placement, property division and retirement accounts. I appreciated his experience, advice and extensive knowledge during the entire process. I felt that he and his staff were sympathetic a...nd emotionally supportive. He was able to get the best results for me and my children and I always felt like I had the best representation possible.

He came across as this pitbull. After the first appointment, I NEVER saw him again. He passed me off to a female attorney in his office. She was weak to say the least. When I asked to have him in court they would say we have to check his calendar. Never did he go to court for me! The office doesn'...t return your calls. The only thing they are good at is ringing up your bill!

Attorney Fields never even showed up to my T.R.O. as promised but a younger much less qualified and incapable attorney was there. I was informed that attorney Fields was " sick" and unable to make my court date the day before. The other attorney did not enter anything as evidence as was planned... and cross examined with as few questions as necessary. They also charged me for my initial consult which I never agreed to and was told that it was complimentary, obviously more lies. When I left them for a new attorney I was completely taken aback at the cost that they had the audacity to charge me. Almost $5,000.00 for something that I called around for priced an Avg of approx $1200 to $1500 for the whole case. They combined both my contract amounts just to cover the one. It has been a back and forth nightmare with them for any and everything that I need that has to do with my case. Watch your money and your own best interests because they are only watching out for theirs.
