I highly recommend Attorney John Fields. He and his team of paralegals always made me comfortable despite going through such a stress-inducing ordeal. What immediately struck me was that he was easy to talk to and always took time to explain the process step-by-step in ways I could understand. Over the course of 18 months, I came to genuinely appreciate the importance of having a family lawyer who you feel at ease speaking to and is available for you. When going through a family court case, you’re naturally going to lose sleep over it, but knowing you have an experienced and dedicated attorney helping you makes it much better. We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Attorney Fields as opposing council in a child placement dispute. His client weaponized the court system again my husband & rather than acting in the best interest of the child by allowing both parents to be involved in the child's life, he facilitate...d the court proceedings lasting from December 2020-June 2022. He recommended & successfully had a financial discovery & child custody evaluation ordered by the court against a parent (my husband) that had been nothing but forthcoming & cooperative throughout all proceedings. I fully support an attorney/the court keeping a parent, mother OR father, away from a child if there is good reason to, however there was no abuse, neglect, or addiction from either party in this case. Still, Attorney Fields encouraged his client and the courts to keep my husband away from his daughter. Thankfully, we had an amazing attorney on our side that stood up for our family. My husband went from not legally being his fathers child due to having joint custody & regular placement, NO THANKS to Attorney Fields or his client. He will not respond to an email and don't bother asking him to try and resolve the issues outside of the court room. He will not act in you or your child's best interest, he will act in the best interest of his bank account.

I left an abusive husband and was afraid that I was going to have to share custody of my child with my husband. Attorney Fields was able to have the custody limited of my child to ensure his safety. He stood by my side and at all times made me feel like myself and my child were safe. I would recommen...d him to anyone that needs a lawyer that will not be a pushover and will stand up for you and what's right. He helped me make sure that my child remains in a safe environment!

I hired Attorney Fields to help me with my divorce and custody. It was a very complicated process with custody, placement, property division and retirement accounts. I appreciated his experience, advice and extensive knowledge during the entire process. I felt that he and his staff were sympathetic a...nd emotionally supportive. He was able to get the best results for me and my children and I always felt like I had the best representation possible.

Attorney Fields never even showed up to my T.R.O. as promised but a younger much less qualified and incapable attorney was there. I was informed that attorney Fields was " sick" and unable to make my court date the day before. The other attorney did not enter anything as evidence as was planned... and cross examined with as few questions as necessary. They also charged me for my initial consult which I never agreed to and was told that it was complimentary, obviously more lies. When I left them for a new attorney I was completely taken aback at the cost that they had the audacity to charge me. Almost $5,000.00 for something that I called around for priced an Avg of approx $1200 to $1500 for the whole case. They combined both my contract amounts just to cover the one. It has been a back and forth nightmare with them for any and everything that I need that has to do with my case. Watch your money and your own best interests because they are only watching out for theirs.
