I needed an attorney who would help with my child custody dispute, which had been addressed in the divorce a year prior, but did not provide for a safe situation for the 3 children my ex husband and I have together. I searched the area for attorneys, and was very disappointed with the results. Afte...r speaking with Attorney Fields, who lived several hours away, I was confident he was the man for the job. He lived across the state, but was willing to take the case and travel wherever needed. My case was a very difficult child custody case. Attorney Fields always made time to speak with me when I needed legal advice about the sometimes rapidly-changing situation, when I had concerns about different aspects of the case, and anytime I needed clarification on an issue. He was patient and professional, but also resolute when it came to speaking with the other party. In addition to Attorney Field’s skill, his paralegal, Magdalene, was also highly competent, friendly, and professional. I have experienced a great deal of frustration when trying to speak with other attorneys’ staff, but that was not the case with Magdalene. She is an outstanding asset to his team. I have been impressed with Attorney Field’s knowledge, skills, flexibility, and powers of persuasion. He prepared diligently and thoroughly for the trial, and his strong case contributed to a last-minute settlement assuring full satisfaction of my concerns moving forward. Attorney Fields settled for nothing less than 100% of what I wanted done. He was expensive, but worth every penny. The only thing that would have made the experience better is if I would have had him for the divorce itself!

We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Attorney Fields as opposing council in a child placement dispute. His client weaponized the court system again my husband & rather than acting in the best interest of the child by allowing both parents to be involved in the child's life, he facilitate...d the court proceedings lasting from December 2020-June 2022. He recommended & successfully had a financial discovery & child custody evaluation ordered by the court against a parent (my husband) that had been nothing but forthcoming & cooperative throughout all proceedings. I fully support an attorney/the court keeping a parent, mother OR father, away from a child if there is good reason to, however there was no abuse, neglect, or addiction from either party in this case. Still, Attorney Fields encouraged his client and the courts to keep my husband away from his daughter. Thankfully, we had an amazing attorney on our side that stood up for our family. My husband went from not legally being his fathers child due to having joint custody & regular placement, NO THANKS to Attorney Fields or his client. He will not respond to an email and don't bother asking him to try and resolve the issues outside of the court room. He will not act in you or your child's best interest, he will act in the best interest of his bank account.

Had a lengthy divorce with many custody issues. Was very attentive and helpful navigating the court system. Consulted with several experts to get advice and recommendations for asset and retirement plans. Has also been available and represented our family for post - judgement financial issues, does a... very thorough review with great outcomes!!

Attorney Fields was the 5th attorney I used in a 4-year divorce case. As a retired Law Enforcement officer I expected the Attorneys to work for me since I was paying them. I had other attorneys come to court unprepared and they had to utilize my paperwork during the proceedings. I had attorneys en...ter into agreements with out consulting with me. And I had attorneys that failed to return phone calls, allowed the other side to tell lies about me in court and felt it was ok to go to court without my ex's financial statements. Attorney Fields was prepared much more than my ex's attorney, listened to me and never made any agreements with out my ok. I certainly will use Attorney Fields again if I ever need an Attorney.
