I hired Ryan to help me with my divorce. In the beginning he presented himself in a professional manner & I felt was really tryn to help me. We had a meeting in his office with Ryan, myself, my husband & his Attorney & from that day forward after meeting my husband/his Atty he seemed to be helping th...e husband more than me! I wound up paying him thousands upon thousands of dollars of which 90% of that was for emails!!! Because of the fact he didnt answer my questions in full I wound up writing him several emails asking the same questions over & over costing me ALOT of extra money (each email whether it was from me to him or vice-versa costed me like $25/$30!) Long story short I refused to sign the 2 options he had drafted because I was not happy nor in agreement with either option. It got to where I refused to pay him another cent until he did the job he was suppose to do, that being get me support/maintenance money I deserved. He wound up withdrawing from the case leaving me with an $1,800 tab after already paying him thousands! My case was simple & clean cut all I wanted was my fair share. My husband makes $89,000/yr to my $13,000 SSDI/yr. Because of the immense difference in incomes my rights to a fair amount of support money should have been guaranteed... unfortunately that's not how it turned out leaving me to fend for myself against husband & his attorney. HIS lawyer wound up rescheduling every single court hearing knowing that if the judge saw what was being proposed would have been on my side without a doubt so his lawyer got me to sign a fake agreement so the case could be dismissed. Ryan is not knowledgeable AT ALL in regards to divorce & I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM if you are seeking an Atty for a divorce.
