I hired Lindsey on June of 2020, I am reviewing her now because my divorce took long to finalize and my divorce was final on January of 2022 and I was going to through her reviews and I never got the chance to thank her. At the moment I have another situation that I will be retaining Lindsey for and ...will review her in a timely manner but let me just explain how wonderful Lindsey was for my divorce. One she was able to stipulate my divorce before even getting to the judge. She saved me a lot of money on that stipulation. I didn’t understand why she told me not to retain her for the portion of the GAL at the time. I was too emotional and thought like I was going to be screwed not realizing that Lindsey had already set me up for the win on the stipulation I was worried about the little things and Lindsey sat me down said hey you going to have to take the lost here on the ring pay that balance she negotiated me out of a-lot of debt that I would of incurred. She was very honest when my funds were exhausted she told me you don’t have to retain me for the GAL trial she explained everything again because my emotions were all over the place I didn’t understand it. But when my divorce was finalized it all made sense. There was no 50/50 on the debt she was able to get me out of alot and she did it in a short time I want to say 5 months she got everything on a court document had my wife and her lawyer agree on the stipulation and told me not to retain her for the GAL( because she didn’t want to just take my money) she knew I didn’t need her for that and told me you don’t have to retain me until the GAL has made a decision and at that point you can retain me again if needed. Lindsey is not cheap but she’s worth every dollar she charges for her services and I would recommend her 100% no questions asked. I had an issue where the child was born in a marriage and I wasn’t the biological father. It was a very hard situation for me at the time but when it was all set and done I realized just how good Lindsey really was. My ex wife spent over 20k on her attorneys and Lindsey I want to say costed me anywhere from 4-6k in that 5 month window and man I just want to say she was worth every penny of it! By the time the divorce was finalized I was able to overcome the presumption of marriage. I had the rings paid off and I walked away without paying thousands towards my wife’s debt in school. Lindsey did the right thing in stipulating my case saved me a-lot of money in court fees and was always super nice, professional and to the point. Best Family Lawyer in Milwaukee for sure!
