Aileen G. Henry

My experience with Aileen Henry and her paralegal was horrible the worst experience with a lawyer I've ever had. My advice is never hire this lawyer if your appointed her through the court fire her right away. I was incarcerated for over 40 months for drug possession I caught Aileen and her paraleg...al Megan lying to me and intentionally misleading me on several occasions. When my significant other caught her lying to her ms Henry hung up on her. She never followed through on a single thing she said she was going to do she repetitively asked the court for more time to have co-counsel added to my case who specialize in suppression issues the judge granted time for this and allowed the other attorney to be added to my case they never were attorney Henry never provided them with my discovery material. She asked for another 30 days to amend a motion to suppress then didn't review the discovery until the day of the evidentiary hearing since she didn't amend the motion the judge denied the motion without having the hearing. She pressured me into a plea agreement while telling me that what the police did was illegal that the search was illegal but did nothing to fight for me. I ultimately took a plea because I was incarcerated for over 40 months while my first plea offer was only 24 months incarceration. I had other family issues that I needed to be able to tend to. I was released with time served then after my release my judgement of conviction was amended taking almost 400 days credit from me. I called ms Henry immediately she told me she didn't have time to deal with this that she was going on vacation. When she returned I provided her with case law and statutes which garranteed me sentance credit her advice was to turn myself into custody and let my appeal lawyer deal with it which could take 6months- 1year. I then hired a new lawyer for one motion and one hearing he used the same case law and statutes I provided to ms Henry. I won my motion and was ordered to be released immediately. Ms Henry and her paralegal Megan shouldn't be allowed to practice law they prey upon individuals that have no clue what's going on in a courtroom or place there trust in their lawyer. They don't know how to react or handle someone who researches and has even a slight understanding of what is transpiring in the courtroom or a slight understanding of the law she is the worst lawyer I've ever dealt with and I would never recommend for you to hire her I honestly feel like she shouldn't be allowed to practice law. She's lazy and won't fight for you she'll lie to you and your family and tell you what you need to hear until the week before trial then she'll attempt to scare you into a plea agreement if your appointed this lawyer fire her right away sadly you'll have to wait a few months for a new lawyer but it's well worth the wait to not have an outcome with her deception and her by your side

We hired this lawyer for a family member to obtain a visa. She is unprofessional always cancels her appointments for no apparent reason. She even cancelled an appointment with immigration in Milwaukee today. This is the fourth appointment she cancels. Look for another lawyer she gets nothing done. We... will be suing.

I hired Aileen back in 2014 to defend my son. Aileen came to our home personally and answered all of our questions and gave us all our legal options long before mentioning her fees. She successfully fought for the minimum sentence. When she was not available by phone and emails, she would return call...s in a timely manner. Aileen would check in to see how we were, even when it wasn't case related. Unlike most attorneys, she was there for my family on a professional and personal level. I couldn't have asked for better person to represent my son.
