Highly Recommend. I have used Tom twice for custody related cases and he is great to work with. He does a great job explaining the process and making sure your expectations for the process/outcome are realistic which is so important. Any lawyer can say they can win, but Tom makes sure you understa...nd what he thinks is realistic and also explains what he can and can't control so you can decide if you want to proceed. A Judge actually commented that Tom was very good at his job recently in a hearing which is a huge compliment in my opinion. I truly believe Tom is the best guy to use, given I am one of the only people I know who has been truly happy with the outcome of their custody case, and the others I know who aren't as happy did not use Tom and had a completely different experience than I had. Tom works hard and gets results. My outcomes were above and beyond what I hoped for/expected which made the process even more satisfying, and Tom setting realistic expectations was a big part in that. He's also a down to earth guy who is easy to talk to, and that helps. No one wants a lawyer who they don't understand or feel at ease talking to!

Tom Viner recently represented me in my custody modification case for my children. He was absolutely fantastic in every aspect of the very long draining process. My case involved a custody settlement. My case was particularly unusual in that my Ex and I divorced in NC, never had a court filed document pertaining to custody or child support, and then we both moved to different states (he to Texas and me to Iowa). I had met or worked with 5 different attorneys ...prior to Tom, all of which were unpleasant experiences. I read Tom’s reviews and decided I wanted him to represent me. I had an excellent experience with Tom. Tom and Cassandra were incredibly responsive, helpful, forward, efficient, and fair. I don’t think I ever waited more than a day to hear back from them or receive a document/proposal. Tom always made himself available when I needed to speak with him (that day, not days later).
