I cant express enough my sincere gratitude to Attorney Paul. When my life was finally getting better (so I thought), 3 months post-traumatizing divorce, I got a DUI (2nd offense, 1st was 13 yrs ago). Hired Jonathan on a case in the detroit area. He was very upfront about the hard work that had to be done on my end. We had a plan and I worked each day to improve my case. His office and staff was responsive, especially Tiffany (she is amazing). We got a great result considering the facts of the ...case and I am grateful for his guidance and mentorship these past months.

My review can start with the exact words I sent Jonathan at the conclusion of my case (i.e. after sentencing). "I was genuine when I said you really did change the course of this for me. I am incredibly thankful, not only (obviously) because of the court outcome but because of the positive impact ...the last six months has had on my life and my family's life. It was an absolute low point, what happened, but I'm grateful for the opportunity to turn things back around." What I'm referencing is words I spoke when the judge asked me if I had anything to say, which was to thank Jonathan for his incredible ethic, dedication, and holistic approach to treating his cases. When I was HORRIFIED to be charged with a high-BAC DUI last December (I've never been in trouble with the law before) I was at a total loss but knew that it was a sign I needed to get serious about my drinking problem. I looked for local attorneys who wouldn't just do a cash grab and try to get me off on a technicality, but would work me to make it clear to the court that I really was dedicated to making a positive change. Don't get me wrong -- his plan is TOUGH. You have to be ready to take responsibility for your actions. There were times I didn't think I'd make it through. But he and/or Tiffany were incredibly responsive any time I had a question or concern and quick to lend encouragement. At my trial, he was able to bring proof of my 60 days of dedicated recovery work to the prosecutor and bring my charges down to a regular OWI. Between trial and sentencing, he checked in periodically and let me know of any changes/requirements well in advance, and encouraged me to stick with my program. Because of that, I received a reduced probation sentence and kudos from the judge for my effort. And today I'm proud to say I'm sober. If you're ready to take the incident that happened and use it as a catalyst for positive change in your life, I cannot hesitate to recommend Mr. Paul enough. Nor can my family. <3

I should have ran when I originally called his office when I was facing a pending DUI charge. Jonathan and his partner Stephanie are indeed very professional but they lack transparency and if you want updates you have to reach out to them, they don't really prioritize you even when you are spending i...n excess of $5,000 for a single case. I felt like they immediately categorized me as a drunk and when I got upset about the outcome his office provided they told me "well you shouldn't have committed a crime" really? I'm the defendant and you are my lawyer and you're going to tell me that? In addition I almost missed my hardship appeal court case because Jonathan and Stephanie didn't think it was important to tell me the correct location of the hearing. They assumed i'm a professional with the law system and I would just know..... I then had to chase Jonathan down to finally receive my hardship license from the SOS, instead of him reaching out to me with the resolution. Basically I will never get another criminal charge because I'm not a low life retard, however if something ever happens in the future, Jonathan Paul will be my last choice.

I messaged Jonathan after I found out I was getting charged with 3rd degree retail fraud (first time offense) and I was truly horrified at what was going to happen to me. I chose Jonathan because of all the reviews he had online although I was skeptical he sounded too good to be true but lo and behol...d he and his team lived up to every word I and other reviewers have said. Jonathan was responsive to EVERY email or message I had sent ( and I sent a lot) I am still perplexed as to how his response time seemed to be within minutes of my question.
