I feel very privileged and honored to have been represented by Mr. Wilcox. I knew very little about anything that was going on with me at the time of my arrest for an OWI and I think that sometimes the criminal justice system can help by having a bird’s eye view of your situation that you just cannot... see past bc you are immersed in your own problems, and the probation that I underwent helped me quit drinking which is what I wanted to do. I don’t find many among my friends who take criminal charges like owis and duis seriously anymore and I always find myself crying in the back of a cop car bc it is a life changing experience.. and I couldn’t have handled my legal problems emotionally on my own especially being painted as an anti-myself kind of person but I think we might all feel that way when we get slapped with charges. But Marcus makes me feel comfortable and at ease and like he knows exactly everything that’s going on, so in case I don’t understand something or misunderstand something, I know that somebody I trust at least does. I really didn’t know he had been practicing for 19 years He might have mentioned it but it didn’t ring the bell that it should have at the time, but I think he’s probably dealt with lots of different kinds of people from lots of different walks of life, but I kind of like him so much that I want to keep him as just my own personal lawyer. He makes me want to learn about what it means to earn rights. I’m not a native born American citizen so that might be why things don’t make a lot of sense to me from the Internet to my life… but anyways it gave me a lot of hope to be under the jurisdiction of such knowledgeable and well meaning authority figures such as the ones in Livingston county that I was seen by. I think every word I say is wrong honestly and it’s pretty debilitating being forced into making life choices that you don’t even understand and are paralyzed by the fear of saying the wrong thing. But a good lawyer like Marcus is a rarity I think personally.., and I’m just most glad that I could afford his services bc a 19 year long standing experience is not something that just anybody can come by easily.
