If you are looking for a full-of-himself attorney with a nasty attitude, Gary is the guy for you. Following an initial friendly conference call about possibly setting up a revocable Trust for me and my wife, I had an additional question and called the office the next day. Garry was unreachable. The preferred communication mode for this law office is through the receptionist. I had a very simple question about yearly charges for maintaining the trust. This was a binary question and I expected a “Yes” or a “NO” answer. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a straight answer. The analogy the office was using was that maintaining a trust is like maintaining a backup generator… After insisting to the receptionist that I wanted to talk to the lawyer himself, I received a nasty phone call from Gary. He informed me that in the future, if I wanted to personally talk to him, he will charge me by the hour.

We of course regret if anyone calls and is unhappy with us. We clearly can't please everybody.
Caller insisted on speaking with me and was rude to my receptionist. Caller wanted a binary "Yes" or a "NO" answer - we told him (after he was rude to my staff member) that there were no necessary charges after we completed the services we discussed, but we offered an OPTIONAL maintenance plan. Without the maintenance plan (and yes, we used the generator analogy, for which he was rude and nasty to my team member, and then frankly me) there would be charges to speak with me. He also insisted that if/when he calls he speaks only with me and not a staff member, and I said that is not our process but we could accommodate - he seemed okay with that, and he told me about how he worked with a broker who lost his money, and wouldn't take his calls.
Anyway, I was surprised to see this poisonous review.
After our call, in which he seemed okay, he then didn't return any follow up calls from my office.
I'm glad we never performed work for him - I can't imagine it would have been a good experience for myself or my team.
We work closely with families and strive to have every client satisfied. Clearly you can't please everyone. I am protective of my team, and if someone is rude to them, they are not welcome here.
