Biography
Andrew Achey now owns his own private practice, The Law Office of Andrew Achey. After being partner, for a number of years with a long standing firm in Logansport, Indiana.
Andrew graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree of Liberal Arts from Indiana Wesleyan and graduated with a Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert McKinney School of Law. He is a member of the Cass County Bar Association and of the Indiana Bar Association.
After being admitted to the bar, Andrew began his legal career by working as a Cass County Deputy Prosecutor. It was while he was working as a prosecutor that he successfully tried several jury trials, bench trials, and negotiated hundreds of plea agreements. He will leverage his experience as a prosecutor to benefit his private clients.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Andrew volunteers as Logansport High School Girls Cross County coach and works closely with the Logansport High School Career Center by mentoring high school students contemplating legal careers. He also teaches criminal law at Ivy Tech and is actively involved in local politics.
Andrew has three children Kiersten, Kennedy, and Chandler. All three children attended Cass County Schools and Kiersten and Kennedy now attend Indiana University Bloomington.

Worst lawyer ever.
I’m 2017 This man was appointed to me in court when I didn’t have the cash to hire a lawyer myself. My maximum sentence was 12 years in prison.
