I hired David Steele to defend me against contempt for not paying medical bills, which I never received, and to countersue for visitation with my two girls that I was being denied. My ex was asking for the moon and more but turns out I wound up getting everything I asked for and we were even able to ...settle out of court. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome from this case, especially in a state that is not big on Father’s rights. What is even more exceptional? When it came time to pay the final bill, knowing I didn’t have a lot of money, David mentioned to me how he didn’t charge me for a single hour of “his time” on the bill and even gave me a free hour on top of it. I looked online for lawyers after my child's "father" served me papers. I immediately knew David was the lawyer I wanted, needed!! My family was insistent that I "shop around". I called a few people and my instinct continued to point me to David. I had a bit of a money fiasco at first, but he was ver...y understanding and patient while I gathered funds. Before I ever paid my retainer, he spoke with me on the phone at great length, sharing his opinion and experience on my situation. David is like my hero that I was searching for!! I just hired David as my attorney but I had to get on here and add to his fabulous reviews because of how good he has treated me already! I am hiring David to take over my current custody case. This is what I am used to in a lawyer...someone that takes forever to call you back (because you sure don't... get them on the phone the first time you call) , vague answers in emails so you will write again to rack up more money, and someone that doesn't really care just in general. My previous lawyer is why I thought this and all the mistakes that have been made through this whole process! As much as I didn't like the idea of getting a new lawyer because I didn't know if they were going to be exactly the same as the one I had and wasting more money I knew I had to because I was getting absolutely nowhere. So I started really searching for someone that might actually know what they are doing and I stumbled across David on this website. Seeing all of the excellent reviews on him made me think hey this guy might actually be able to do something for me. So I called David's office and instead of talking to an assistant or having me leave my info with them and waiting on a callback they immediately connected me to David and it wasn't just transferring me to him in the office. They transferred me to his cell phone and I had an hour and half conversation with him! He was obviously out of the office doing other things but still took the time to talk to me. To me that is unheard of in a lawyer especially a lawyer that has no idea who you are and that isn't evena client! I have been nothing but completely stressed out over this whole situation for months! I have never felt at ease about any of it. After talking to him I felt so much stress actually lifted off my shoulders. I got off the phone actually happy. For a lawyer to have an immediate conversation with me for that long without even knowing if I'm going to actually hire him that says a lot in my book. He truly does care and is passionate about what he does and it isn't all about the money with this guy. His pricing is also very reasonable. At the end of the phone call I knew I just had to hire him. He even got me into his office the next day to run through everything real quick and to fill out paperwork. I am very excited to work with him and I cannot wait to see what he can do for me with my case. I'm sure when it's all done and over with I will be getting back on here to give a review on how he has helped me. Sites like these really do help tremendously when it comes to finding someone that is good at what they do. I just wish I would have seen this and hired him in the beginning!
