Child Advocacy and Family Interests: Outstanding Service!

Nathan is definitely a reputable advocate of law. He handled a case of mine efficiently, effectively, and righteously through conference calls, emails, and meetings. I appreciate the Clio app that the firm sets up for clients. The app keeps track of all submitted case-relative documents, memos, da...tes and deadlines, reminders, payments, and invoices. Overall, Mr. Hacker and his law firm are extremely active. He has played a valuable role in helping me establish a rightful relationship with my son.

INCOMPETENT in my opinion.

Hired Mr. Hacker to get a restraining order to protect my wife and family from the mother of my daughter. In addition to verbal intimidation and social media documented threats, my daughters mother forced her way into my home and physically attacked my wife, Mr. Hacker failed to even call my wife int...o the courtroom to testify. My neighbor witnessed my daughters mother peering through and attempting to get into a window of my home. After requesting several times please subpoena my neighbor, at the hearing, and after telling me how "important your neighbors testimony could be”, Hacker tells me he didn't send the subpoena because he didn't have the address. On the day of the hearing Hacker announced to me and my witnesses that the court clerk says there was a call made by someone identifying themselves by name as the mother of my daughter, lying to the court that I would not be present at the hearing. Even this lie was not addressed a mere hour later in the hearing. My daughters mother testified that she was shoved in 2014 by me and was granted a restraining order. Even though Mr. Hacker, recommended several attorneys I can use to file my appeal, I think I better find my own. This guy was not at all helpful to my daughter, or with this case.

Mr. *******, I am sorry that the case moved forward the way it did as I explained after the hearing. In regards to the protective order issued, the court ruled that the mother of your child had more compelling evidence due in part to the concussion she sustained. I disagree with the issuance of only one protective order in this instance as opposed to granting both, but again this is an issue for appeal. In response to your claim that we failed to call a witness to testify, as I explained during the case, we cannot subpoena a witness without their address. I had been promised that this witness would be physically brought to the hearing since it was not possible for us to subpoena them. I was also disappointed when the witness did not arrive and was not able to testify. Despite the lack of testimony there were several issues we preserved which may result in a reversal upon appeal. Again, I’m sorry that the case moved forward the way it did and that you feel I did not perform my best. I wish you and your family luck moving forward, and that the court of appeals will have the opportunity to consider this issue for you. This can also be a lesson to all clients regardless of who your attorney is. If you believe that a witness is vital to your case, either 1) provide an address so that they can be subpoenaed, or 2) deliver the witness to court to testify if you cannot provide an address.

I highly recommend!

Nathan proved time and again that I, his client, was his #1 priority. He and his team always worked in my best interest, and delivered on their promises. I was delighted with the outcome they obtained on my behalf. Also, I was later able to use the free Eskew Law pen to write down the license plate o...f a hit and run driver. Bonus!

Honest, Knowledgable, and Persistant Family Law Attorney

Anyone looking for a great family law attorney needs to check out Nathan Hacker. This guy by far is the best. He is very detailed oriented, knows his stuff frontwards and backwards, and if you are anything like me and find yourself in this extremely difficult situation of fighting to remain an activ...e father in your child's life you want someone who will give you a game plan. As long as you follow your attorney's advice and are honest with everything (even if you were wrong about something) he can formulate a game plan and be prepared for anything the opposing counsel will throw your way. Even when I was super nervous going into court and worried about certain things that would come up, including lies my ex was stating he assured me we had this under control. I've read some reviews about people complaining about the $100 consultation fee. Believe me, that is going to be the best $100 you ever spend. As knowledgeable as Nate and his team are, trust me, you are in excellent hands. You won't be leaving a ton of messages trying to get ahold of Nate or Sarah (his paralegal) either. I know people dread spending money when it comes to these things, but if you are going to spend it I cannot stress enough that this is where you need to go. I'm a dad who is very involved in his little girls life and when it came time to put some money on the books I never dreaded it because I knew they were working hard and not just creating things to bill you for. These guys are honest and will definitely fight for you. I think we all know how the system tends to favor the mothers, I don't think I would have gotten a better outcome with any other attorney out there. I was satisfied with how my 2 year battle ended and I think it was fair on both sides. Remember going into this, there will be times where you have to give and take with your ex, please just always keep your child's interest at the forefront of your dealings with them. Nate and his team will guide you and will definitely let you know to knock certain things off if you're in the wrong and trust me, that is EXACTLY what you want. If for any other reason I need an attorney for family law or anything else, based off of my experience I will certainly be calling them, and will refer anyone who needs the help to go to this firm.
