He earned his law degree from The University of Akron School of Law in 2020, graduating magna cum laude. There, he was the recipient of the CALI excellence award for Legal Writing.

Exceeding expectations
I hired Attorney Joseph Ohlin for a domestic violence charge that was most defiantly not in my favor. He did an excellent job in representing me in a very professional manner. He was able to get it dropped to a disorderly conduct with very mild punishment. I have nothing but good things to say about the outcome in this case. I would 100 percent recommend attorney Ohlin to anyone in need.

Youngstown City demand for Payment
I had a squater living in my vacatnt apartment. She would not leave until forced to by a judge. The ciurt told me I had to place ant of her personal belongings left on the cub for her to to get. I was not allowed to donate of throw away anything. I paid a company $250 to place everything fomr the apartment on the curb. The city removed everything withing 2 days and sent me a demand for $500. Attorney Olin did a great job in contacting the city attorney and representing me and the great lose I had already incured with damage and expense with this unauthorized occupant, He informed the city I had done as I was told and was in the process of having everything remaining removed by another company for far less the city cost. He arranged a compromise of my paying the city $250. Attorney Olin was great on keeping me informed to the progress and the solution of this very stressful situation. I am very greatful for all the help he gave me to get this whole situation behind me,

Domestic violence and cpc
He said he would get it reduced down to a disorderly conduct and was able to on the charge do feel the cpc was stretched out longer then it should of been though.
