Biography
Attorney Joseph R. Ohlin focuses his practice on State and Federal Criminal Defense, Juvenile Defense, Personal Injury, and Wrongful Death. In addition, Attorney Ohlin provides representation to clients in Estate Planning and Administration. A native of the Mahoning Valley, Attorney Ohlin graduated from Springfield Local High School before attending Youngstown State University (B.A., cum laude, 2016). There, he participated in Moot Court and was a member of the Alpha Alpha Rho Chapter of the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science National Honor Society. He earned his law degree from The University of Akron School of Law in 2020, graduating magna cum laude. There, he was the recipient of the CALI excellence award for Legal Writing.
Attorney Ohlin is a member of the Mahoning County Bar Association, where he serves on the Board of Trustees. He is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.
Attorney Ohlin is an avid fan of Notre Dame football and enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and son.
