David helped me through the difficult process of declaring chapter 7 bankruptcy. I don't know how I would have managed without him. I was scared to death about the whole thing, but I knew I could rely on him to protect me from the worst of it. He let me know when I could relax and when to be nervo...us about the process, as well as guiding me through the nuts and bolts. David returns calls and e-mails, even when he is busy, and he is personable and retains a good sense of humor. His advice and decisions showed consistently that he succeeded in walking the line between protecting me as a client and serving as an officer of the court. In other words, I knew I was dealing with an honest man who would do all he could do to serve my interests while upholding his obligations to the law and to the court. David knows the ropes--he's been inside this process for a while now. When I had trouble filling out some of the endless forms and questionnaires, he could tell me when a bit of information was or was not important, which was a lifesaver when I had to dig among moving boxes in search of an obscure financial record (I had just moved when I was preparing to file). When we had our interview with a representative of the court to review my documents, I was really glad David was there as my advocate, because I trusted his judgment.
