My experience hiring Sam was awful I really don’t understand how he has good reviews. I think he just chooses the cases he wants to fight for. My sister caught a case in 2019. My sister is not from Ohio and me living in another state ( California) made it difficult to find a good lawyer. I heard of ...his name and I figured why not. The first time I met him he seemed like a lawyer that new his stuff. When I hired him that was the end and I hardly heard from him. I called him and numerous times and never got a call back. On various occasions he will tell to me to call him back because he was working out. I had to fly multiple times spending money that I didn’t have to see what was going on. I paid him half and 2 months later his assistant told me that if I didn’t pay the full amount they will remove themselves from the case. My sister was in jail for a whole year and not once did Sam go see her. Not to mentioned the foul language he used with me and the disrespect when I questioned him about his role in representing my sister. On numerous occasion he will tell my sister that she was going to be sentenced to prison. He kept telling ME! That my sister should of known better. Who the F says those things. I lost my patience and I flew from California to Ohio and I literally went of on him. For his lack of work. He kicked me from his office and told me I was not allowed to be there. During my sisters sentencing he was late and went over my sisters paperwork 5 mins before the court. My sister got sentence and as soon as she did SAM just got up and walked away. When I came out he didn’t even look at me nor did he asked me if I needed anything. Specially since I’m not from Ohio I wasn’t sure where she was going. I talked to other people and believe me Sam could of done more. Before I left Ohio I asked him for a final accounting and it’s 2021 and guess what he NEVER sent it nor did he respond to any of my emails. Like I mentioned before Sam only picks the ones he feels he will fight for or the ones that will make him look good on TV. Other than that if I’m his eyes your guilty then good luck with that. So I don’t think he will read this! But if he does… He knows who I am.

I screwed up and Sam helped me resolve my case in Franklin County the best possible way. While he is not cheap, you most definitely get what you pay for with this man and his extremely helpful/kind staff. Every penny is worth it. Part of what makes Sam great is that he takes a no BS approach with yo...u as a defendant, and with the courts. He clearly communicated my options to me and gave his opinion, which I accepted and went with. His presence in the courtroom is second to none, he is organized, and his credibility, well, that's what makes him so exceptional and respected by the law community in central Ohio. After discussing my case in a consultation, he took time out of his busy day to inspire me to do better and get my life back on track. If you're fortunate enough to get Sam to accept your case, be extremely thankful... he's one of the best, if not THE best.

When our son got in trouble we turned to Sam Shamansky. We had never been in a situation like this before and had no idea the ramifications that could result from our son’s actions or how it would affect his future. We were thankful that we knew Sam and hired him to represent our son. Sam explain...ed the whole process to us and what to expect. He is a professional and knowledgeable attorney. It was comforting knowing that he was handling things and helped calm our anxieties. Each time we called Sam’s office with a question or concern he always responded in a timely manner.
