Kudos to Brian O'Shaughnessy

I had a very difficult tenant renting from me who lied and skipped out on the last months' rent. I had a judgement awarded to me from Dade county, GA, but the tenant moved to another county and worked in Hamilton County, TN. Brian was able to domesticate the judgement and get a garnishment from th...e irresponsible tenants. I was so happy to receive the money due to me and know that justice can be obtained -- Brian O'Shaugnessy made it happen!

In an "11th Hour" situation, in a touchy family drama, Brian came through in a manner that exceeded all expectations.

I was dealing with a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety as I watched my wife struggle with members of her own family in the wake of her father's death in the summer of 2010. He passed, in fact, unexpectedly on the first day of what was meant to be our honeymoon. To think that would just be the... beginning of a familial nightmare was, literally, not even in the realm of my most paranoid imagination. My wife's sister, upon appointing herself executor (although his will clearly stated otherwise) was busted in the act of fraud, lying about the existence of said will to family members and attorneys in two states. The fact that she was breaking the spirit and letter of the law, was of little consequence to me, being a lifelong scofflaw myself and a person that's never believed in the philosophy that "legal" equals "right" and "illegal" equals "immoral". But her blatant defying of her own father's wishes in the handling of his affairs was a glaring, disappointing peak into the mind of a truly selfish...even evil...person. My wife, naturally, didn't want to believe the worst and consistently erred on the side of her baby sis, whom she'd all but raised during the most formative years of her life. Emotions ran high, feelings were hurt, bridges were burned, and the images she'd built of family unity were destroyed by this one woman and her blinding obsession to control each and every aspect of the events that followed her father's memorial service. We'd made it plain, several times over, to the sister and her live-in boyfriend, that we'd be happy to take over the payments of her father's Jeep, which was a great source of pride for him. My car's engine had blown up on the way to Illinois, taking care of the final transfer of his belongings in storage and to spend time with his grieving mate. We needed the ride, my wife had precious little in the way of material things to remind her of her father (her sister having seen to that over years and years of manipulation and secretive theft). She assured us that she understood the complexities of estate law in Illinois and we awaited updates from her, to no avail. Finally, we learned through another family member that they had allowed the Jeep to be re-possessed. Simply picked up and hauled away by an uncaring, nameless, faceless finance company, as one last spit in the face of her sister, who now finally realized the truth about her sibling and the pain she was capable of purposely inflicting. At this moment, my silence and reticence to enter into the family drama had to cease and I called my friend, and newly elected congressman Chuck Fleischman. He didn't hesitate for a single second, directing me to Brian, who hit the ground running and did everything in his power to track down the Jeep, intervene on our part to thwart the repo and auction machinery. We did, through time and the efforts of this extraordinary man, who owed me nothing and had precious little to gain in a situation whose most lucrative results for him would still have been a very poor day's work, recover the vehicle. And ever since, he's still watched out for us and our interests in this ongoing nightmare. Although I'm sure it's a rarely used description of people in the legal field (I know I'VE certainly never used it), but we both feel we've had a guardian angel in our corner. And the respect he's earned from others throughout this process, is a strong testament to his character. Other people, for whom we should most likely be a nameless number in an otherwise normal case, have also made sure we have been kept informed against the continuing, insidious acts of this...sister. Pains me to even write that word. But all of that protective action began and can be traced back to one person. Brian.

A very strong endorsment

Attorney Brian O'Shaugnnessy and his staff brilliantly and aggresively interceded on my behalf in a wrongfull garnishment of my checking account. Communication with this attorney and his staff was easily accessible. I can not endorse an attorney with more enthusiasm than I can with Attorney Brian O...'Shaugnnessy.
