Professional, Smart, and Hard Working!

I had a very complicated case of charges wrongfully being pressed against me and Mr. Crain took the time to listen, understand, and work out the details of my case. On the day of court, Mr. Crain was able to explain the complex situation to the judge very clearly and have all charges dropped and expu...nged from my record! Another unnamed attorney I consulted in Murfreesboro actually advised me to turn myself and pay bond on something that I have proof I didnt do! But Mr. Crain understands the law very well and I am sure will match your honesty with very hard work and professionalism in order to help you as best as he possibly can in your case. Do yourself a favor, contact Mr. Crain. His professional and quick services are worth every penny! Thanks Joshua T. Crain!

Terrible lawyer

Do not hire him unless you want to be kept in the dark about your case, and then be told misinformation as a scare tactic so you will accept a plea and be under the impression that he did everything he could for your case. Also. You can never get ahold of him and he expects you to talk to his secreta...ry as if you've hired her as your attorney. Mr. Crain got me out of a tough spot before I hired him when I missed my court date on accident. He appeared that he wanted to help me. Then I took the bate and hired him the very next day. I don't have a criminal record and I was being charged with a class A misdemeanor. I had read all the reviews about how he helped a lot of people that were being charged with crimes that could really impact their lives if they were convicted. So I hired him and paid out of pocket instead of getting a court appointed attorney. All he did was sit on his phone in court then try to get me to take a plea. He didn't even bother to try to get me a diversion. Then he informs me that since I didn't take the plea, I have to pay him $2500 to go to court for my case again. So I essentially paid him, thinking I was protecting myself against the worst possible outcome, just so he could get me convicted and not even fight for me. Terrible experience. I will not hire him again or recommend him to anyone. Be warned, he will deceive you and take your money.

Good Morning, First, let me say that I am sorry you feel your experience with my office was not what you expected or wanted. However, like you, I don't like misinformation. You mention in your review that I "didn't even bother to try to get [you] diversion." In the State of Tennessee, a DUI charge is legally ineligible for diversion. You also state in your review that I informed you that since you didn't take the plea you would have to pay me to go to court again. That is also misinformation. Your case was in General Sessions Court. Once the prosecuting attorney made their offer to settle the case in General Sessions Court and you declined the offer, the case had to proceed into Circuit Court; the court where jury trials take place. Unfortunately, in the county where your case was handled, the judge has a policy that you do not get a reset after your second appearance. Therefore, our options that day were to negotiate a settlement (which I did), and then either accept or reject (which you did) the settlement offer. If the settlement offer is rejected, the case then must proceed to Circuit Court by way of the Grand Jury. The fee you were quoted was the fee to defend your case in Circuit Court, as I was originally retained only for General Sessions Court. You were not misinformed. I understand completely the frustration that accompanies any criminal charge and the process of dealing with that charge in court. Unfortunately, the crime you are accused of carries with it a mandatory minimum sentence by law, and is not eligible for diversion, a fact that was explained to you. I'm sorry that you feel your situation is my fault, but I do hope that you are able to get a positive outcome.

Two thumbs up

I'm going to start off by saying Joshua Crain is amazing! He did everything he said he would do. I have been very sceptical these past years hiring attorneys, not TRULY knowing if they care about you OR your case really. I was VERY sceptical using him my first time because I have had issues with othe...r attorneys in the past. Joshua did NOT lie to me once.. He told me upfront he was going to "fight with me" and he stuck by his word. I literally Just walked out the courtroom less than an hour ago and Joshua got my whole criminal felony charge dropped with minimal other requirements. He was able to get my fiance's case dropped totally due to cops charging him with crap in the first place (also a felony charge). Joshua is a great attorney and VERY professional. I won't speak on any other lawyer but Joshua is the BEST LAWYER I EVER HAD. No lie. He is down to earth and understands things. He is also very sweet and attentive. He listens and makes things happen. Weither you are looking for an attorney you may need now or in the future I'm telling you Joshua is the right attorney. I don't feel like he is fake or I don't feel like he "plays both sides". Joshua is on his clients side, and it's good to know that he is one of the VERY few because I have had attorneys play me in the past. They tell you from the moment of your consultation "I can get this expunged/dropped/handled " and the next thing you know, you're in the middle of your WORST nightmare. Joshua is 100% real and he's down for you. Please do yourself a favor and do not waste anymore money on attorneys. Give him a chance I know you won't regret it. He is truly a blessing in disguise.

The Best Attorney I Have Ever Had!

I have only had to hire 3 lawyers in life, however I have had to sit in court and watch many of them work for their clients. HANDS DOWN-Joshua Crain is the best I have ever had or seen! I will never need another one since I have him. Joshua works efficiently to save you money and aggressively to acco...mplish your goals as his client. Thank you for being my attorney!
