Amazing

I cannot thank Crain enough. He is a pitbull. Very patient sticks up for his client and wont let you make a wrong decision. His all around back ground made him the right fit for my situation. If I needed a lawyer for a divorce, criminal or anything else he will be on my speed dial. You are amazing.

One of the Best

Mr. Crain was a godsend. When the reprehensible opposing first attorney threatened my first attorney, forcing her to bow out, I found Mr. Crain. He took my case and ran with it. His methodology is very logical, to the point, and honest. He made no overt promises but spoke the truth and gave the odds... as he calculated them. He even discovered that I actually DO have marital property over which to fight in my divorce. I quickly found that he is highly revered by his peers and law enforcement; subsequently, he has valuable connections to aid in his discovery and strategy. I was not intimidated by Mr. Crain because he did not make me feel inferior (as most attorneys do). Unlike my first attorney, Mr. Crain could not be intimidated or fooled by the opposing attorneys, old or new. He understood my financial limitations and communicated through his paralegal as much as possible to help me keep costs low. Because I live far away, he communicated with me via emails and telephone calls as much and as quickly as possible. I love the fact that he has District Attorney experience because his criminal prosecution experience is very helpful when divorcing someone who committed crimes during the marriage and has committed crimes since the separation. I highly recommend him in matters of family and criminal law.

Divorce and Child Custody Case

Crain Law and associates went above and beyond through the entire divorce and child custody process. Mr. Crain is extremely thorough. He knows the law well, is extremely educated, and offers sound advice. He was in touch via email or phone frequently and kept me up to date with the case. He responded... quickly if I ever had a question or concern. He helped me to look at things from a future stand point and not rush things when it came to making a parenting plan or child support based on present circumstances. He helped me to see the whole picture in each area of the divorce. His assistant, Haleigh, was kind, organized, and thorough as well. I would highly recommend Mr. Crain and his associates to walk through your legal process with you. You will be very pleased! I am extremely grateful that Mr. Crain was recommended to me by a friend.

Amazing Attorney!

Mr. Crain is an amazing attorney. He helped with my divorce. It should have been an easy divorce because my ex and I were on the same page. But, it was not. It ended up being a really frustrating nightmare. Mr. Crain never gave up and went out of his way to make sure my case was right and finis...hed properly. The divorce is finally final. Mr. Crain truly cares about people. I do not know what I would have done without Mr. Crain and his office staff helping me though and keeping me sane. If you have anything you need an attorney for- I highly recommend Mr. Crain.

Divorce

I hired this attorney for my divorce. I went in for my initial free consultation and Mr. Crain was very professional and gave me all of the information I needed in order to begin the process. He answered all my questions and gave me the full allotted time without making me feel rushed. I felt that hi...s retainer fee was quite reasonable for an uncontested divorce so I hired him. However, the retainer fee he charges is at a lower rate than most because your case is handled mainly by his assistant and not Mr. Crain himself. All communication, meetings, phone calls, etc. are between his assistant and the client/clients. She is very friendly and extremely helpful. I found her to be knowledgeable and she consults with Mr. Crain about everything before making any decisions or taking any actions in the case, but if you want to deal with Mr. Crain himself it'll cost you. Aside from just a few misunderstandings due to miscommunication my interaction with his assistant was positive and she handled everything very well. The only other thing that caught me a bit off gaurd was the billing. After paying the retainer fee I began to receive billing statements detailing what was being charged and taken out of my retainer. The statement revealed that my retainer was diminishing quite rapidly due to the fact that I was charged quite a bit for every phone call, email, meeting, or conversation that was being held about my case. Even if some of these did not include me. For example, they received a call from the court about the date for my final hearing and I was charged for that. Needless to say my retainer ran out way before my case was closed and I ended up having to pay several hundred dollars over what I had initially paid, so be prepared for that. Also, it's best to pay by cash or check because there is an extra 5% charge for paying with a card. Besides my initial free consultation the only other time I saw or spoke with Mr. Crane was on the date of my final hearing 90 days after The paper work was filed. He was very professional and knowledgable and handled everything very well and quickly. He isn't too personable/approachable but no one hires a lawyer for his charm. He and his assistant got the job done well and as fast as they could get it done and that's all I wanted. Overall my experience with Mr. Crain and his office was pretty good.

First, let me say that I'm sorry your experience was not what you were expecting or hoping for. My goal is to provide each and every client with the highest degree of professionalism and efficiency in handling their legal needs. However, as a point of clarification, my retainer fee is not lower because my assistant handles the cases. My retainers are determined based upon my assessment of how complicated the case is projected to be. Cases that are less complicated are less expensive. Additionally, I pride myself on having competent and capable staff that I can rely on, as any business does, but have a standing rule that any client can speak with me in person or on the phone, regardless of how big or small the issue may be. All that is required is that my client call and schedule a time to speak with me. Because of my hectic court schedule, scheduling is simply a necessity for me. As for not being personable/approachable, I can only say that my wife has chided me for years for not smiling enough.
